I maxed out the armor just in time, there's a section where I got ambushed by it seemed like more than a dozen tanks. I'll play a lot tonight and through the weekend and probably have it beat.

There are more upgrades coming your way and for my money, I'd spend points on those rather than Batsuit upgrades. After all, you've been trough 3 games and the Predator and Combat should be right up your alley. With the Batmobile, you can easily get overwhelmed and dying during those segments means you'll have to start all over again.

man, I was so excited to get this game, it's coming in tomorrow with a ps4 bundle I got, but reading all the disappoint people have with this game and the batmobile is really taking my excitement down. Hopefully I end up liking it as much as City, but the talk on this game isn't encouraging.

It took some time getting the feel again, but a dozen or more guys is pretty easy to do now.

I really liked the Batmobile earlier during the game, started to hate it during the climax of the story (ANOTHER dragged out sequence? Seriously?) but now that the story is over for me and after using it more for the Most Wanted missions, I like it just fine again.

My advice is to be patient, max out the Batmobile upgrades and take frequent breaks, there are DEFINITELY some infuriating and prolonged moments with the Batmobile that gets easier the second time around.

I'd say that I was most annoyed with it during the AK boss/tank battle. I love Pursuit mode, though. Those Firefly Most Wanted Missions were a blast.

Yes, that's exactly the moment I was referring to. Good lord, what were they thinking?

Man, I'd really like to talk about the story but none of you have beaten it yet. Hurry up! :impatient:

I can talk about everything up to when you get the encrypted call from Gordon, as I've been focusing on the side stuff before getting too close to the end.

Nah I'll wait. You, Pliss, Solidus and the rest of the gang. I really have no idea how did some folks posted end game spoilers here day one. I wanna discuss the game with people who payed it all the way trough.

Many felt that the boss fights sucked.

Most of them did, but I still think boss fights are appropriate for a Batman game. There were some good ones too, I liked the Ra's fight, Mr. freeze, and most of the boss fights in Arkham Origins were solid.

I really don't have any prediction on how MGSV is going to be. But part of me worries it's going to be PW meets MGS4... we keep hearing critics all it PW 2.0... and that's not a good sign. Episodic missions in a console version of the series don't jive well with me. But I guess it works in the scope of a sandbox.

With all of the gameplay I've seen so far, I already know I'm going to love it. There's just so much you can do, from customization, to exploration, to making tough decisions that impact the story, and we haven't even seen a single boss fight yet. The buddy feature is incredible. The only thing the game has to deliver on is the story, even at its worse, I think it'll be better than Arkham Knight's story.

I must say, though, having completed a little over 60% of the game (total, as I'm going to try to go for the real ending, my first time around), I'm a little surprised by all of the ire the Batmobile has drawn. I'm, honestly, just as surprised that I like it so much, as I was pretty "meh" on it, to begin with, but I've found it a lot of fun to use. I'm loving the detective features, and Riddler challenges, this time around, as well. It really feels like they nailed that "be the Batman" thing they were going for. The most wanted missions are fantastic, and there are some serious "holy ****" moments, in the game, as well. All in all, I couldn't be happier.

I still love the Batmobile, but towards the end you use it for everything, even for the most tedious objectives. Also the removal of the challenge maps really hurts. I'm still not done but right now I think the game is a solid 8.5/10.

Holy ****ing ****
Man-Bat

Biggest let down in the entire game imo.

All you do it bump into him. That's the mission. Bump him and trigger a cut-scene 3 times. Lamest side quest in all of Arkham history so far as I'm concerned. A real missed opportunity for aerial combat they could have used along with Firefly.

Real life: Bad guys with tanks over run NYC, US military would invade NYC and take it back. Hell, tanks wouldn't even be able to mobilize to over take NYC.

Videogame: Batman only, US military doesn't exist. :lol

Fun game though. :lol

Batman couldn't have asked nicely for GCPD to open up the case with his electrical weapon, he had to break the glass like that, what a d***. :lol

Don't get me wrong I love this game. It's like a better arkham city. Though I will say the story in origins was better for me. This just feels a little flat so far somehow. I can't quite put my finger on it. I think it's too much batmobile and not enough epic boss fights / confrontations.
