Broke and happy
You can't go wrong with that.
Origins? Nope, I'm waiting for a re-release of the 3 games on current gen.

Conroy not being apart of it was enough to turn me off. I don't really like the sound of the new guy. The reviews just solidified my reluctance to buy. Ill wait for Rocksteadys return.
My sentiments exactly.Origins' story is overrated? Lol where? Is the most underrated of the 3, yet, probably the second best.
Joker's story is fantastic, the way Joker met Batman was like twisted love at first sight, it was perfect, what's also perfect is the representation of a young, rougher, inexperienced Batman, they nailed that one.
How Batman and Gordon's relationship came to be is also top notch, you get some character development and interactions that you just don't get in any of the other 2 games, Barbara's bits were also great.
A bunch of Assassins are trying to kill Batman cause he's a problem for the mob, what's not to like?
When you find out Bane discovered the batcave and Alfred's not responding, you actually feel the urgency, I didn't feel that in City near the end.
If the gameplay didn't have so many bugs on the PC version it would probably be considered the best of the franchise, yeah it took everything City did, but what did you expect? It DID expand on some things mainly in the fights, city navigation, etc etc, added a couple enemies that made Origins fights the most fun of the 3 games, the martial artist enemy type made them a lot more varied.
And the design of the characters was probably the best of the 3 games.
Arkham PF's are in the works according to Alex. Im waiting further detail as to which version (Asylum City Orig or Knight) and when.

My sentiments exactly.
Also I wouldn't even call Origins overrated because of all the flak it gets. If anything, it's heavily underrated, especially since it's one of the rare few times where the story actually felt like it carried some form of thematic significance as it reached the finale. I think the bugs and unpolished final product really brought down what should've been a solid entry in the Arkham franchise.
I think I'm the only one who liked Origins over asylum/city.

It definitely has a different art style, but I feel right at home nevertheless.I have to agree about the story for AO being the best of the three games (aside from the "Black Mask is the main villain" but he isn't element). There are some other great things about it too such as having the Batcave as a hub, the height of the buildings in New Gotham and the whole bridge design/gameplay, the Mr Freeze DLC. But the game as a whole still ranks the lowest for me though since (ignoring the glitches) it feels too detached from the Arkham series.
That's odd, most people thought they were striving more for a Nolan-esque feel, which is also odd because WB Montreal's designs actually make sense and are visually appealing.- The character models look more cartoonish than AA & AC (the game devs even stated they were going for a more stylised look)
Everybody's younger, and it's part of the different art style, I think the Joker has the exact same personality, but nowhere near the same charming voice.- The character models and behavior for some of the characters are wildly different than in AA & AC, such as Joker and Killer Croc (I understand it's a prequel but there's no way those characters will end up looking like they do in AA & AC. Joker is much more Ledger-esque in AO than the other games.)
Surely they would have.- As i3link786 touched upon, the two main voice actors being different separate it from the series a lot. Had Conroy and Hamill voiced their respective characters it would have gone a long way to elevating the game's appeal.
- I realize this one's a bit nit-picky, but the composer is different. Not a big thing to a lot of people I'm sure, but it's very noticeable to me and goes a long way to changing the tone of the game. Whilst it's a great score, it doesn't seem to have the energy of the previous game's scores (which is more noticeable during combat or predator room elements) and perhaps feels more suited to a movie than a game.
I think soundtrack is the best of the 3.
Christopher Drake is DC's go-to-guy when it comes to scoring their animated movies and he has nothing but aces in his resume.
I like the mood of City and Asylum too, can't complain.
