I miss it too, I thought that Arkham Asylum and City had a great balance between comic book look and modernization. I very much like the art style of Asylum and City as they did tend to lean a little more to Caricatures and didnt need to look to realistic. I like the Origins style but they also try to lean more to movie style "realistic" look, which I like to leave in the movies. I was hoping for the next RS batman game they would return to thier comic like art style but it seems they went with the movie/realistic style now.

Why did they dip out on the third?

Giving it a second look, I prefer the simpler fabric suit compared to the armor.

This looks amazing! I am a grown man, trying not to squeal with excitement at work. I must have the special edition of this game. It may be the first game i buy twice. Once on XBOX360 to complete the trilogy on the system I started it on, and again on Next gen.

HT can skip the Arkham Asylum figs, and make figs from this one!!

This is a direct sequel to Arkham City, yeah? Then the continuity of the suit is a bit intriguing.

The Batmobile looks like *** and the new suit, well, it's not much better.

There wasn't that much of a difference between his look in Arkham Asylum to Arkham City. Why the drastic redesign here?

At the rate they are going we will be getting Batman Beyond games by the time they show anything from that line. Honestly, I just want an Arkham Batman. If I cannot have a Returns Keaton version to stand next to my 89 Batmobile. Then I want what I consider the ultimate version of the character(the Arkhamverse version) instead. With this game coming out, hopefully they move on the line. Also if WB could be so kind as to stick Affleck in the Arkham version of the suit that would be fantastic as well.

Um, why? The games and movies are pretty separate so what would the point of that be? Besides, does the game really need Batlfeck haters?

Conroy confirmed he is working on the sequel to Arkham City when Origins was announced.

Pretty epic Batmobile, not '89 Burton Batmobile epic, but close.
I'd buy an HT version of this Batman.

The Arkham suit is basically a close real world look at the classic costume. I am tired of the all black batman costume. Putting Affleck in a suit closer to the comics would not only show a break with the tradition, but also visually show DC is starting to skew closer to their comics. Plus the Arkham suit is visually awesome. It's traditional without being goofy. It works.

I thought the whole change up with the Origins suit was just to show that the suit was condensed and refined in the later games?... and now were back to a clunker.

I took it as Gotham is essentially a warzone. He is going for more armor for maximum protection. In the original Arkham game they had an armored costume he could wear as an alternate.

Yeah that was the idea, and I think the Origins suit was even made up of multiple pieces. So you're right, it is weird.

I still don't like the idea nor do I even get what you're aiming at. Or why Affleck should be in everything. I don't hate the guy but leave him in the movies, it's what he was chosen to do.
