Batman Black and White statues 2013

Greg Capullo Batman finaly arrived today checked a few and there does seem to be a few with one ear shorter than the other so if you can inspect them first.
Here are some quick phone pics i took while i checked them out.

Is the Capullo Batman really 8.2 inches?

Also, is he holding like three mini batarangs or something? Looks like a bit of a Wolverine thing going on.

K's a great guy to deal with. Purchased one B&W from him and was actually thinking of getting the B Joker too, but didn't have funds available atm.

Yeah, Kyle gave me a very fair deal. Sorry you missed out on his Joker but hopefully you'll be able to pick up another one when the time is right for you. Can't wait to finally get him and put him on display. This piece has eluded me for awhile so I'll be a happy dude when he arrives.

From the bottom of the base he measures 6 inches tall...and the wolverine thing looks sick but I guess they're ONLY batarangs lol

No worries Seeing that he is no longer available actually gave me a bit of comfort, one of those times when something keeps nagging you because you cannot buy it for some reason or the other.

SOOO happy I got the Capullo statues. I picked up Joker in NYC last week and had Bats delivered to my house yesterday. They look great on their own and amazing together. These are now proudly displayed with the rest of my collection.

Just received the Capullo statues. Man, I love the way they just nailed the art source on these 2 pieces. They look fantastic. The Joker looks as creepy as ever and Bats looks poised for action. This line just continues to impress. Looking forward to the Arkham Origins Bats next. I have about 12 of these B&W statues but I can honestly say I love every one of them.

More than AO Bats, I am looking forward to the next year releases, Earth 2 and all. AO Bat's pose looks a lot like Bermejo's and I didn't like the way the proto looked. Hopefully he'll have better colour tones when released.

If it was a more dynamic (or even a static) pose like this, it could've looked even better:

I actually don't own the Bermejo Bats statue. I just never really cared for it. I'm just a big fan of the Arkham games so I ordered the AO piece. I happen to like the pose so it works out OK for me. Although, I must say that the pics you picked out look great. That's the thing I like about this line. There really is something for everyone in this line. There are so many different artistic interpretations of the Bat in this line that can appeal to a wide variety of collectors. I'm very much looking forward to future releases.

Saw a factory sealed BB&W Vol.1 Hardcover for $39.99 on eBay, thought I'd post it here. Guess its a good price considering what it used to sell for a few years ago.

Got Capullo Joker off ebay and preordered Harley. I'd love to go back and get the AA Bat's and Bermejo Joker but no way in hell am I paying those ebay prices.

Just preordered the Gary Frank statue, and I'm planning on preordering the Harley statue very soon, that statue is gorgeous and don't wanna miss that one.

I'm also looking forward to the Arkham statue coming out next month, I loved that game.

While I really like the poses and pics, and agree they would've made great statues, I do love and can't wait for the AO Batman statue. I think it looks great. On the subject of POing the Black and White statues, and pretty much also the Arkham City line of statues by DC, I don't PO them I feel I'll always be able together my hands on one within the first 2 months of release, and won't be rushed to pay for one right away if I'm not ready to buy. I only feel the need to PO the SS PFs. Also, the Arkham City line of statues canbe bought for a lower price if you wait a few months on Amazon or EBay. However the same can't be said for the Black and White line. They increase in price sooner, and are harder to get quicker. Either way, I love these statues!! I think both lines are amazing.
