I always thought this guy would make an excelent Bruce Wayne, he is dark but also charismatic, and has Bruce Wayne body type

But he is maybe too old at this moment, I'm not sure.

About the movie style, please WB stay with Nolan "realistic" style, Nolan made perfect Batman movies on my book, se please let's try to replicate that...

Cant act though.

I think Matt Bomer would be good but I don't think he would ever get the role.

I'm betting we get someone like Ryan Gosling or Jake Gyllenhaal. I hope we don't get Bradley Cooper or someone like him. lol

The list of known leading men that would normally be considered for these roles is getting quite thin due to all of the superhero franchises that are currently active.

Chris Pine
Sam Worthington
even possibly Channing Tatum :monkey1

...will probably be approached to play a hero in one of the universes if they haven't already (not necessarily Bruce Wayne I just mean anyone.)

If Channing Tatum is cast as Bruce Wayne/Batman that might literally be the end of my fandom. I'm serious.

Armie Hammer was cast as Bats in the George Miller JLA film that got canned due to the writers' strike. I think he'd actually be better for the role now than he was then.

I hear you. :lol

I felt like I dodged a bullet when his name came up as a contender for Steve Rogers. Cap and Bats are my two favorite superheroes and since I will forever be totally good with Bale's version I feel like I'm forever immune to whatever Tatum does in any given superhero universe.

Hell no. None of these turds.

Btw: When I write this, a local tv-channel is showing Batman&Robin. That is a one crappy movie.

But I would like to see Lars Von Trier to direct new Batman and Alan Moore could write it.

Yeah, I agree. No Tatum as Bats. I don't mind him as an actor, but I don't see him pulling off Bruce Wayne, much less Batman.

I don't think that guy is likable or popular enough to headline a Batman film. He may have been fine in a swarm of nobodies for the JL film but I don't think he'd be good on his own.

I personally hope they go for an older Batman. I don't really want origins again so soon. Someone like Guy Pearce or Michael Fassbender would be pretty great IMO.

not happening..nolan is outta here :yess:
And he left us an amazing trilogy of films. He raised the bar. WB is gonna have to really work to give us something just as great. It's certainly been a wonderful 8 years for Batman fans. :yess:

Man, it seems like only yesterday I was sitting in the theater watching Batman Begins. I still remember the atmosphere and the moments I, and others, shared during the film. I dare say it might have even been more exciting than the first time I went to a theater, which incidentally was the '89 Burton Batflick.

My most exciting time in a movie theater was watching Avatar. Its this generation's Star Wars you know. :lecture

The worst experience I ever had was watching Spielberg's AI. I *hated* when the aliens from outer space showed up at what up to then had been a very thought provoking film about mechanical creatures.

I wasn't lucky enough to be born in 1980, in order to be taken to Return of the Jedi. Just barely missed it. At least I got to see Batman '89 though. :clap

As for Avatar, I didn't see it in theaters. I have the Blu Ray and it's a fun film, but not sure I ever truly got dragged into the hype. Might change with the sequel though, who knows.

Uh... You do know those are NOT space aliens at the end of A.I., right? They're in fact advanced AI mechas in search of all evidence and information on their original creator (man). Like many, you completely missed the point and theme of the entire film.

But you're not alone. A.I. is one of the most misunderstood films of all time.

Irish I've seriously used that same joke on you like three times now. :lol

Of course I know what they are at the end it just gets you every time. :D

And Avatar is certainly NOT my most exciting experience, that'd have to be Star Wars in 1977 and ESB in 80.

I thought that sounded familiar. :lol :lol :lol

In my defense, though, tons of people HAVE had that take on the film. I had to correct a close friend on it just a couple of months ago, actually. :lol Drives me nuts, obviously.
