1. Take Arkham City.

2. Put it into the theatre.

3. Profit / Nolan who?

I'd agree with this for the most part. I don't think the Nolan who part so much but it would be nice to have a more serious/comic batman on screen.

Poison Ivy is due for a make-over but not in another movie with Freeze again. :lol

So true. Uma Thurman was so wasted. She looked gorgeous as Ivy, imo. (minus the dumb *** gorilla suit and those hair-horns) :lol

"That's why every Poison Ivy action figure comes complete with him!" *gestures at Bane*

Great stuff.

As I said in the other thread I'd love to see a more fantastical film released in the Zemeckis mocap style. Conroy voicing batman, job done:yess:

True, but that accent and her delivery didn't do her any favors.

I blame Schumacher for that. :lol

But she was terrible, I'm not denying it. She's usually a good actress though, but when you get a **** script and terrible direction there's not much you can do. :lol

I would have loved to see her performance as Ivy with a capable script/director in her prime. Now she's a little too old. I think Emily Blunt would be a solid choice if they include the character in the next couple of years.

Uma Thurman's appearance as Poison Ivy was the first time I was actually ever attracted to her. I never really found her appealing otherwise!

it was to over the top she looks good in pulp fiction to a point .

Clooney said that Schumacher basically had the entire cast loop (redub) their dialogue for about 99% of the film which is just one of the many reasons the performances didn't seem to match the wretched, wretched dialogue. You've heard the expression "phoned in perfomances," that was actually the literal case for B&R. :lol

Even now I remember his line "this is why Superman works alone" sounding particularly flat in the movie compared to his delivery in the trailer. And then just imagine guys like Schwarzenegger trying to capture the "subtleties" of his performance after the fact. That's why it sounded like he was doing a parody of himself.

i really want to see a batman year 100 film.
there are a lot of great directors out there that could make it into a great film.

that or Darren Aronofsky's batman.
if its not somthing like that than i dont think i will really like the reboot.
i hope its not like the arkham city game.
but im just glad that thay are leaving nolan's trilogy alone.
and as much as i want nolan to move on to better things
i would also be interested in a batman beyond based film with Joseph Gordon-Levitt
if it was directed by nolan.

batman begins
the dark knight
the dark knight rises
batman beyond

but his trilogy is over and as perfect as a batman film can get.
and there will never be another batman trilogy as good as it.

I think he meant that it wouldn't seque into a modern Justice League flick which is what WB is going for.

:lecture:lecture:lecture WB don't want to wait around to build a franchise before JLA. Hell, they don't even wanna establish most of the roster first. :lol

She didn't look bad, but her performance was pretty awful.

I don't know who was worse, her or Arnie. :lol

Cool ideas DiFabio - I can dig it.

I would go the opposite direction though - ultra modern. But with much of those 'obsessive' characteristics you described.
