Well I just got it delivered which was a nice early surprise. The downside is that the bag had quite a bit of moisture in it and the top of the cowl was pretty damp. Looks like I have paint bubbles on the top of the head
The bust however is awesome and for the doubters there is nothing wrong with the eyes. I will get some pics later I have to go to work

Sorry to hear that buds... I was looking at this and was really tempted to pull the trigger....I'll hold off until the moisture issue is rectified...

Don't know about the oil issue but mine came today.

Totally blown away. No regrets in any way

It turns out what looked like someone had spritz sprayed my bust with water turns out to be the same oil problem others have experienced. Whether it has to do with there being no silica crystals in the box to absorb the moisture or another issue I don't know.
I wiped most of it off in a rush this afternoon but it's still there in places I can see tonight, all around the top of the cowl and up the ears where it was worst there are paint bubbles and oily spots. Pics are crap sorry I only have downlights but you get the idea.
Not a simple fix either, the bust isn't painted black, it's more like the colour of the SWS Alien Queen bust.
I wonder what SS will do? Hopefully it gets sorted soon, this is a beast of a bust for sure but not acceptable as it is.

It is pretty awesome isn't it? I've got over 20 busts now and this is easy top 5. But you should wait for the moisture drama to go away before you go again!
Did they paint under the nose black on yours? Mine is nearly all skin coloured where the cowl should be.

Batmans nose is around 5mm up underneath the nose piece on mine but the whole area is painted skin colour not black where the cowl should be up to where the nose starts.

Sorry bout that mate. I think they'd offer you a replacement on that. Their first DC collectible and even that had to suffer the QC's wrath! They better get their act together while they can.

Sucks for everyone who gets an oily one because of the ____ty QC. Got an email last night pushing my last 2 flex payments to 8/15/12 and 9/15/12. Hope it gets fixed by then.
