For the cost, you would think it would not be hollow. Kinda sad omo. But still can not wait to get my modern age bats. Still no early arrival notice from Sideshow.

That's a clean break, actually, not saying breaks are good but if you had to have a break that was the best possible outcome. Use some superglue or if you have it gap filling acrylic glue and it should be fine, but I'd still send those pics to Sideshow.

True and normally I'd agree. However, glue only works on unpainted surfaces and there's not much here to work with at all. I could try to remove some paint but my skills are a bit lacking with something so delicate. I contacted Sideshow about it and they have offered to replace it but I would have to send the old body back - not a huge problem but a pain in the butt and I'm a little concerned that I might receive a refurbished part as a replacement. Alternatively, they offered me $45 if I would keep it and repair it myself. They suggested I use Zap-a-Gap but I'm in Canada and it's not readily available here. Not sure what an equivalent substitute would be.

Actually since you are using on a painted surface I'd see if you can get Bob smith industries insta-cure cynoacrylate. It's what I use for all my repairs and it will bond to the surface even with the paint, You could also sand the area lightly since it's a spot that won't be seen once the fin is in place then glue it. . However, you have to be careful, it dries very quickly so make sure if you do use it that your placement is 100% accurate. If you want the bond even stronger you can get a bottle of insta-cure, spray one area with that then the other area with glue and fit them together. It'll stay longer and stronger but again, using both makes the glue set instantly so you have to have accurate placement.

the original comic PF is hollow, just not as hollow as the Arkham.. jus saying

the ship label quoted the comic pf as 33 lbs, and now when I look at the tracking, the entire dimensions of the package are off... the Arkham one is 18 lbs with packaging.

The base on the comic one was heftier ... jus saying

and of course the cape added more bulk to the comic PF.

I still think the comic PF is statue of the year... IMO

if they let me keep Arkham Bats, I'd preorder Arkham Joker, otherwise Id totally opt for Modern Age Bats or Red Son Bats if I could only have a couple in my collection....

Already have 2 other Bats

Batman modern age is a freekin masterpiece. I am extremely glad I waited for this, instead of getting the black regular one. Everything I was concerned of were improved upon. Mine was in perfect condition. Love
it!!!

It really is awesome. A great first PF for me. The one thing I was concerned about was the look of the belt but even that came out great. They added shading to each section of the belt so it goes from an almost orange color to a pale yellow and back in each section. From the pictures, I couldn't see that detail and it looked more plastic like. In person it is great.

Ok this modern blue bats is really good looking. Way better than the original. But looks like the armpit issue is fixed on the left arm but the right arm is not fixed at all. Can it be fixed with a string pulling it up? Or will it tear into the fabric? It looks pretty bad on the left side. Can I do it with no glue?

Right now its Keaton due to Nostaglia

But im 98% sure Modern Age will be my fav when it finally arrives

Arkham is really nice

It would obviously be my fav if I werent so involved in DCs comic line
