Great to read about this! I was curious if the belt looks as plain and plastic-y as it appears to be on *some* pictures, and if I had one nit to pick on this statue, that would be it.
Looks really good altogether! We only need an Adam West PF and we'll have Bats represented from comics, games, TV, and movies

Your pics and comments convinced me. I thought there was no way I would pay $90 more than the first Batman PF for a simple repaint (€469 against €379 here) but it's too good for me to pass. It's not like I'll be able to afford many other PF after that, anyway.
Somehow, I find it looks more "genuine" than the first PF (which I had and liked, but had to destroy, with no way to get a replacement...). The first one was a great Batman, but not one I recognized. This one looks like it's straight out of the comics. The belt, the symbol, the head, it's not Sideshow's interpretation of the Batman.
I still think a leaner body would be better (imagine if they used Supes PF sculpt as a base) but well. I guess I can live with that.
So, after being on the fence for a while, I decided to buy the modern Bats instead of buying the first PF again. He'll be joining my Supes PF soon. I can't wait!

Is your status by SS "still processing?" I think it's better to get things by at least next week to avoid that x-mas rush when they purposely throw the boxes around cause they are frustrated with all the volume of work during the holidays. I rather get mine if I had used SS's flex option by Jan cause things will get back to normal and less likely to have problems during delivery.

Yep, I am trying to get any of my orders lined up for January instead of December (also moving in January so my shipping will be hella cheaper). I ALMOST had my loot shipped from BBTS, then realized I DID NOT want that box caught in the holiday shipping madness.
I just got mine at the comic book store, and it is epic!!! Unfortunately had to drop it off at the storage unit for the time being. I like this one better than the previous version, especially the new head sculpt. 1104 out 2000 I believe it is.

I tell you affatori and TBolt I learned the hard to avoid that x-mas Rush if all possible. Back in mid 1990's I had ordered 2 GIjoe Master Edition Astronauts that was a reissue of the Hasbro 1967 silver suit astronauts from FAO Schwarz. And it was that week very close to x-mas and UPS delivered the boxes kind of crushed. The packaging of the figures had very bad beat up corners and bending. I ended up going to FAO Schwarz in person and exchanged the 2 I had. I used this method cause I believe it was free shipping and didn't want to fuss with going to the store during the holidays. But I learned x-mas and UPS, all of themi are a recipe for possible disaster.
I get my Bats on Weds and I will post pics.
UPDATE: I am getting it today, it was changed from tomorrow to today.
2nd update: mine has arrived # 0910. I will watch dr Phil first cause Nicolas Brendon ( Xander from Buffy) is on the show then I post pictures and my thoughts.

That sucks you had that problem, good thing you were able to get a replacement. I am tempted to call Sideshow and get him shipped early, but your warning is taken brother. How was shipper quality for bats? My dead pool cardboard was really light weight cardboard. Looking forward to your impressions. Thanks again.
