Damn. I'm more of a classic Bats fan, and so I prefer this to the black and gray version I already have. I hate with a passion selling statues (a pain packaging and shipping, and lots of opportunities for damage in transit), but I guess it's gonna have to be done so that I can upgrade here. Possibly the only 1/4 scale '70s-'80s style Batman we're going to get.




That was also what first popped into my mind. Seems like he's mostly been black and gray since the mid-90s. But maybe they're calling him this so they can leave the door open for a more "classic," **** Sprang, or '50s style Batman, or even first appearance? He's modern compared to that I guess.


Good lord that would be awesome and hilarious. Also, blue and red energy Supermen, please. Cyborg Superman? Lion- or bug-headed Superman? Opportunities are nearly endless!


I'm sure cost could be an excuse. Hell, there could be dozens of potential excuses!

I did a photoshop a while back, I'll see if I can find it.

So damn tempting I have to say! As others have already said, I think its the new portrait that's luring me in! That chiselled chin of Bruce Wayne...Damn! I think I'm gonna go for it and hope the rumours of a new White Variant Superman PF are also true!

I like the new portrait also and like the colors... Neil Adams is my fav Bats artist...

Question is do I keep the original.. Shipping that is going to be scary. Either way I wont sell till I get this one... No empty Bat spaces on the shelf

LOL, it's easy to do with Superman and Batman's costumes, but Wonder woman is a bit more of a chore.

headsculpt is definitely the best one IMO. I wonder if they will be able to fix the sagging armpit issue. mine wasn't bad but some peoples were real bad.

I didn't end up getting the original Batman PF, just a personal choice because I just didn't love it enough. I do however like the look of the modern age version, I will make my decision when I see the rest of the photo's & it will also depend on the release date as well considering I have a fair bit of other stuff coming as well this year.

It definitely pops more than the first PF and the head sculpt is much better. I wonder if the secondary market will be flooded with the first release and go down in price.

That's pretty badass.

I doubt it's coming this year. December release date, which turns into Feb/Mar 2016

Well this is one nice looking piece, but then again I love the original, so it is no surprise I like this one. The new head sculpt is killer, but not good enough for me to buy the entire statue. I gotta say though I am a little disappointed that they didn't do something a little different with the switchout hand. Revisiting the batarang again is a little uncool as that was the EX for the original.
