Jesse Eisenberg...... please let this be your last superhero movie. You sound terrible in the trailer. It should have been Bryan Cranston, not some teenage sounding wimp.

After watching the trailer countless times in the last couple of days, I think I know what to make of it, the teaser also took me a while to pick up on all of the details, I like the teaser better in general, but anyway. Visually the trailer looks fantastic, there were 2 CGI elements that I didn't like though, the TDKR Bat-swing and Superman hovering over Gotham like breathing in or I don't know what he was doing, puffing up his chest, those 2 in particular looked like AoU-level CGI, the rest of the visuals were gorgeous, Superman rescue scenes looked spectacular, all 3 of them... That shot of the flood circling all the families on top of their houses and this lady reaching out to Superman as he's hovering behind the sun's glare with his cape flowing through the wind, gorgeous.

I'm not sure I like how the costumes fit this time around, both look kinda fat, kinda puffy, it's nothing against the designs themselves, the MoS costume was a perfect fit IMO, it looked very natural, they overdid it with the sculpted musculature in this one, it's not too bad but it calls my eye, I like how the costumes fit the mannequins more than they do the actors :lol Wonder Woman looked great in the 2 quick scenes she's in costume.

The music was alright, I didn't get the feel it was Zimmer or JXL, more like a generic epic trailer music, it was fine, they did that with MoS trailers too, it's always so over dramatic and bombastic, feels just like trailer music, Zimmer is more sophisticated with his melodies and JXL is more electronic, both are way more original and resourceful when it comes to percussion too, I think the teaser was composed by them but not this trailer.

Acting so far looks on point, Affleck is killing it, I'm liking Eisenberg too, except that line "The red capes are coming", I don't know, it's just a nitpick but they could've left it how it is, "the redcoats are coming" or change it to singular "the red cape is coming", plural sounds a bit weird, but anyway, works in context I guess.

Story-wise the bits of info they give in the trailer make me ask so many questions, I have little to no idea how the characters are going to develop, I really don't, but everyone is praising Terrio for the script every single chance they get, Affleck himself has praised Snyder a lot too, Irons even hugged him :lol so that gives me hope it will be good, I wonder if it puts at ease all the people who complain about Snyder's creative input when it comes to writing, since Goyer's out now, this has to be nothing short of excellent to be perceived as a long lasting success that goes beyond the obligated billion or two that is going to make at the BO.

Incidentally I think it's funny how everybody praises Terrio and nobody's even mentioning Goyer, I wonder how that makes Mr. Goyer feel. :rotfl

TL;DR: it okey.

I like this:

So Aliens are hovering over Metropolis way before Zod battled Superman in that building and all Batman did was walk around the street in his street clothes costume?

You think he would've been geared up the second the World Engine arrived.

Isn't he the old, retired and out of training Batman at that point? I may be wrong but I thought they showed him training and getting back into crime fighting before taking on Superman. If he had jumped right in he would have gotten his ass handed to him.

Oh, so this is a sequel to TDKR. :lol

Think about that that for a second. :lol

Why I hated Rises being used.

All I could think when I saw that part was 'what a ****ing tease' - he's taunting them up there. He's probably pointing and doing the Nelson laugh, concealed by the glare of the sun.

I think we're going to see Superman do tons of Superman things. Look at the trailer. He saves astronauts, saves hurricane victims, etc. They seem to be remedying the problems of MoS.

I hope the movie lives up to the trailer. If it does I may reconsider my thoughts on Man of Steel.

As a Superman film, MoS was ****ing insulting to me.
As a film it was just MeH.

Nothing can redeem MoS. NO thing!
