I wish I was a teenage fanboy and not question anything. Alas I never was. Stupid is stupid. Unless it's supposed to be stupid. Then I'm totally fine with it.

:exactly: :hi5: I love reading people defending garbage.... Brainwashed and delusional :lol This is nothing compared to the people who think the new FF movie looks great!!! :slap

I don't think it looks great, I just think it looks decent enough to be the best superhero movie of the year because AOU sucked bad and Antman is looking like the same formulaic poop Marvel has been shooting out lately.

So.. is ^that^ Supe-Cage doco done now?

I saw Difabio mention that he'd seen it or something, I'd really love to check it out.

Yeah, I watched the documentary the other day. It's a little under 2 hours.

The Death of "Superman Lives": What Happened?

The production value is a bit **** in some parts (especially when they use and older video or interviewing Burton in his house with all the digital noise), but it's very interesting and insightful, especially for anyone interested in the process of these movies. The producer, John Peters, seemed bat**** crazy and after seeing Cage and Burton's enthusiasm in the behind the scenes, pre production videos of them testing out the suits, talking about the story and trying out their interpretation of Clark Kent, it's kind of sad that they spent their time on something that ultimately got scrapped. It's a good documentary.

That thong doe :lol

I was scrolling down and though that looked like a cool 90's costume until I saw the thong :lol just give him boxer-length or at least-brief length trunks, turning them into a thong doesn't make it edgier, other than that and black/blue boots costume looks cool.

I think he looks better with long hair on those pics, kinda like an action figure I had.

Nonetheless I want to watch the documentary, and I would've liked to that the movie got made, we would've had an imminent reboot for sure anyway.

Burton, Cage and the costume designer all say they're going to drop the underwear in the test footage. That weird codpiece thing was mandated by a WB higher up.

Then there is this cool electrical, healing suit that the effects guys built that had a lot of R&D, time and effort put into it. It actually moved with every muscle movement because it was done with individual plating. I felt sorry for those guys the most.

The concepts for Braniac that they were throwing around for Braniac were pretty good. I would have liked to have seen how that played out. It was also interesting to see how many of those concepts would eventually be included in future movies, like the black Superman suit, Kevin Spacey as Luthor, the floating skull head in space being utilized in Guardians of the Galaxy and more.

Oh nice, the healing suit I'm assuming was gonna be used after the doomsday battle.

Well, it's downloading, I'm gonna watch tomorrow.

There's also a documentary being made about George Miller's Justice League, that one has to be cool too.
