I'm not a big DC fanboy, Batman is the only character I have an interest in. Even before seeing a trailer for BvS I knew we would get a movie with the two of them fighting with the inevitable team up at the end to take down a bigger threat, in turn leading into a Justice League movie. It's the same standard Hollywood formula just with different characters.

I see people saying that the Civil War trailer is miles better than BvS yet we all know the same thing will happen by the end of that. Cap and Tony will be content with eachother by the end of the movie, especially with another two Avengers movies to make.

Yeah, he went full Deadpool and broke that 4th wall as far as i'm concerned.

He might as well had looked at me when he said it. :lol

Does anyone here speak Jive?
You can see the "You know what's the oldest like in America"? Was also replaced with a more upbeat take, the previous one had been almost whispers.

I'm really hoping all these takes we're seeing here are leftovers only for the trailer.

Parts of the trailer looked so bad ass though.

Like some have said, I can critique all I want (because it's stupid fun), but WB has my money already.

That being said, the studios aren't content with just a single viewing, they most definately depend on multiple viewings.

Unhappy geeks only go once.

Most probably Cap 3 won't end with Tony and Cap making amends. After Civil War we had the Mighty Avengers as the Pro-Reg team, which was also kinda the main team, and the New Avengers being the Non-Registered heroes. Something like that will happen here as well, with both teams coming together in IW. My guess is that Dark Reign will follow, especially with Spider-Man now being in the MCU. But one thing's for certain, all will not be alright at the end. Civil War is the end of a "phase", while BvS is the beginning of a new Universe. Company loyalties aside it'd be "foolish" (for a lack of a better term) to think that both movies will be the same thing just because they share a common theme in a way.

Wow, I can't believe how bad Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor is in these trailers. What a weird approach to the character. We would be better off if they had given us an interpretation like the ones of the cartoons.

I hate this take on Luthor.... I just don't get what they are going for... Doomsday looks like a cross between M. Bay Ninja turtle and the film verion of the Abomination.

I loved the back and forth between Kent and Wayne... Best part of the trailer by far.

I don't know what it is but this shot is supposed to get me psyched up and yet it somehow fails... I don't know why. My best friend thought the same thing.. Is it because WW is in front?? Is it how it's framed... Is it because it obviously a green screen? Is it that Batman should not even be there for a fight like this :lol What is he going to do with that gun? ;) I don't know... It should be the money shot... But it just falls flat for me.

I still have hope but I think Zack Snyder just might not be the right man for the job.

Did I mention I hate this take on Luthor?

True. And all us fans know that was going to occur inevitably. Cap and Iron Man make amends for Infinity War, Supes and Batman were going to make up and become a team for Justice League...

But they didn't have to just go out there and spoil it like they did....especially in a movie trailer that even shows exactly WHY they drop their issues with each other. A common enemy.

They could've shown some scenes of Batman and Superman teaming up but still left the MacGuffin (plot device) for their team-up a mystery...

Someone in WB's marketing team screwed up BIG time editing this trailer.
