Someone in WB's marketing team screwed up BIG time editing this trailer.

Eisenberg's Luthor seems like a colossal ******. With that in mind, he seems exactly like the colossal ****** that you'd see wearing a headset on a stage at CES, talking about how his products will "revolutionize the world." So, while I don't know whether or not this interpretation of Luthor will actually work or not, for the interpretation that it is, I think Eisenberg did justice to the material that he was given.

Yeah but it was a bit too much imo.

I was expecting millennial type hipster ****** bag, not straight up Edward Nigma from B&R. Supposedly that's his "social" persona and he's a cold psycho behind closed doors, but that was just cringe.

So true. I mean, this trailer is just hilariously bad. Jesse Einsenberg sucks in it, the humor looks ridiculous (specially at the end with Batman looking like an idiot at the camera), the theme (audio) for this trailer was repetitive and lame, it revealed too much and Doomsday looks underwhelming.

They had the hype going so well too, this was going to be the Marvel "killer". This trailer just took a dump all over the previous trailer, which was fantastic... it was dark, serious and badass. All we wanted this movie to be. I mean, just watch it again and you'll see.

My expectations were low because I'm not a fan of Cavill as Superman. My dislike was proven with MoS so I was biased about this film from the beginning. Trailer hasn't sparked an inner flame so no loss.

My only interest is seeing Affleck as Batman, he appears to fit the part nicely. I'll see the film to support the genre but I am ok with lower expectations. It's a comic book film......

I hate this take on Luthor.... I just don't get what they are going for... Doomsday looks like a cross between M. Bay Ninja turtle and the film verion of the Abomination.

I loved the back and forth between Kent and Wayne... Best part of the trailer by far.

I don't know what it is but this shot is supposed to get me psyched up and yet it somehow fails... I don't know why. My best friend thought the same thing.. Is it because WW is in front?? Is it how it's framed... Is it because it obviously a green screen? Is it that Batman should not even be there for a fight like this :lol What is he going to do with that gun? ;) I don't know... It should be the money shot... But it just falls flat for me.

I still have hope but I think Zack Snyder just might not be the right man for the job.

Did I mention I hate this take on Luthor?
:goodpost: Definitely agree with everything you said. You did mention your hate for Eisenberg's Luthor but keep on mentioning it. I hate it too.:monkey4

I guess I'll be in the minority, but I'll say that even in the trailer before this one Eisenberg annoyed me. He just has a voice and a face that makes me want to punch it and never stop. It wouldn't matter to me how he played Lex, I wouldn't like it no matter what.

Nope, people wanted cheesy dumb Marvel humor cause da kidz and da family friendly. Welp, they got it.

Kids ruin everything.

+1... Not a fan either.

Yeah but in IM 1 and The Avengers the humor worked... Did CA: TWS have jokes??

The humor in this is just not done well. I think MOS is to blame not Marvel. MOS was dreary and not well received. So they might be trying to over compensate. Problem is MOS just was not a very good movie... Had nothing to do with the lack of jokes.

Another thing I don't like about this shot I think is that it is Obvious. It is obviously trying to be the money shot. Unlike the Avengers when the camera went around them in a circle

BVS just trys too hard to look cool. It is a little embarrassing.

Avengers was more natural and not a classic "Money shot"

Not to pile on BVS... AOU did a bad money shot also IMO... The slow motion scene in the beginning when they are all in the shot was super corny also and tried too hard. I blame Black Widow and Halkeye the most for flying out of the truck... It just looks bad and is in all honesty... Just stupid.

"I thought she was with you" is well done.... by MCU-tier comedy standards; "He's adopted". Like Prince pointed out, turns out TWS does have a lot of dumb jokes too, for some reason I forgot, "I'm multitasking"? :lol Avengers is when humor went downwill in the MCU.

I'm not saying this will be bad or good because of the jokes. But those cheesy jokes, like in the MCU, certainly kill any possible tension and in the case of DC, mess with the tone.

I didn't think the humor worked in The Avengers at all, and TWS had a ton of jokes. Iron Man did it best in my opinion, the jokes really worked because they didn't feel out of place coming out of Stark's cocky arrogant self at the time.

I thought Scarlet looked cool...the only time she looked cool :lol Hawkeye's pose is just weird...like how is he going to land from that position? I don't mind the trinity shot, but it shouldn't be in the trailer, same with WW blocking Doomsday's heat vision blast. Those "money shots" aren't money shots when you put them in a trailer and people know is going to happen.
