Not Intentionally. Even so he had no control over coming to Eath in the first place. Batman is blaming him for the actions of others

lot of it has to do with upbringing though. emo kent was not a good role model.

Supes unmasking Bats is dream sequence.

"That son of a *****" line is perfect, because that's exactly how it could look from the ground, and it shows how tired and angry Bats is.

Xenophobic? He is an alien, literally. :lol

Also...the Superman-Zod battle brought down a Wayne Enterprise building. That's Wayne's people. He's undoubtedly FURIOUS over that, and likely doesn't see Superman's "good guy" press appeal as any sort of redemption for the potential hundreds of lives lost during his final battle with Zod.

The way Batman looks at it...if Superman never came to Earth, he wouldn't have brought Zod, and if that all didn't happen...those people would be alive today.

Batman is likely also carrying a lot of guilt and anger over Robin's death too. Like I said before, the trailers do a pretty good job of showing a bitter and angry Batman with lots of bad history behind him.

Yeah he's an Alien but the way Bruce highlighted it is as if to say "He's an Alien why approve of his actions in any way when he wasn't born here". It's basically a 'he's not one of us' mentality

This Batman is going to be great I think. My favorite line is "it's time you learned what it means to be a man". Only thing that has bugged me about him so far is the whole "DURRR I THOUGHT SHE WAS WITH YOU". I thought Cavill was good in it too, something about his Clark Kent I really like. Like I said the other night when the trailer dropped, I'm getting George Reeves vibes from him, especially when he says "who's that". I've liked the idea of Jeremy Irons as Alfred since day 1 and so far he hasn't disappointed from what little we've seen.

Only thing that bugs me is the hyper, zany Luthor, Teenage mutant ninja cave troll Doomsday and what feels like too many characters. With all the varying tones from the different trailers, I don't know what to expect. If I based it off the last one, this doesn't look right and seems lame/dumb. If I look at everything as a whole, I'm intrigued.

Which is great, and it should be like that, because at the end Superman is going to prove he's a good guy to Batman, which would prove that Batman is wrong for being, as you say, a xenophobe.

SJWs should be salivating all over this, it's a relevant theme.

Watched the trailer again and I think the idea behind chatty and and animated Luthor is that's his public face to lull people into not thinking of him as a threat but it just works too well and he comes across goofy.

And man this trailer really does feel like a condensed summary of the whole movie. More than any trailer before.

It spoils:

- Superman unmasking Batman
- Luthor being behind Doomsday
- Zod being used to create Doomsday
- Wonder Woman's arrival scene
- Doomsday being the threat and removing any mystery there

It feels like They left nothing for a surprise

Hate the "that sonuvabitch brought the war here" line because Superman had no control over them coming to Earth, and when they did he defended the Earth and since has been saving lives daily. Comes across as just being jealous of him what with talking of his press appeal and being xenophobic calling him "alien"

It'll be a miracle if they can have these two team up as friends believably later on given the amount of vitriol Batman has for Superman

How the ** would batman know superman was sent here as a baby?

Or that his planet died or anything....

You make the assumption that batman knows everything that the audience knows from watching the movie

That's dumb...

He watched Man of Steel.

Wayne has the right idea, from his POV, he saw Zod and Superman beating the **** out of each other, destroying buildings, taking lives (including his own employees). He has a right to be cynical and pissed.

Batman is basically those of us that were ripping Man of Steel in 2013 . . . except he never got to see the Krypton, Codex, Kansas or Tornado scenes.

Maybe he remembers the "You Are Not Alone" Zod attack that destroyed a city. Or he reads the Daily Planet. Making his origin public was pretty much the entire plot of MOS.

Exactly. Plus, Batman is naturally suspicious of everything ... and, particularly of superpowered people that are only held in check by their own potentially corruptible morality. I think this movie might resolve some of the complaints about MOS.

Could anyone here imagine the conversation about their past?
Batman: My parents were killed right n front of me when I was a child.
Superman: My father died in front of me too.
Batman: Was he killed by some vicious thug or robber?
Superman: No he died in a tornado.
Batman: Wait a minute you can fly faster than the speed of sound but your father died in a tornado?
Superman: Well it's complicated
Batman: was he porking you or something?
Superman: No, he wasn't porking me.
Batman: Then why didn't you just run over there and save him?
Superman: It's complicated.
Batman: But your Superman. You can move faster than the eye can see.
Superman: I said it's complicated.
Batman: Ok, I'll drop it. Did he die saving someone?
Superman: Yeah, he was rescuing our dog.
Batman: YOU LET YOUR FATHER DIE RESCUING A DOG?????
Superman: I SAID IT WAS COMPLICATED!!!!

He only have strength and some speed but not that fast of a speed. He definitely can't fly yet.

So Batman is basically the "Outraged Facebookers" in the body of a badass?

The problem with the "I thought she was with you" line for me was that it seems to repeating the mistake of Man of Steel. How many people just died in that instant, and they're cracking jokes?

The unmasking is a dream
We knew Luthor was behind Zod already since it was in the previous trailer

Everything else...shouldn't be in the trailer. :slap
