But it doesn't. Take off the fanboy glasses.

It seems like you have brown tinted glasses towards everything not Star Wars...because the world has made you bitter. They're never going to validate your love of the PT, young Jedi, but you can break free of all this rage that consumes you. Believe you me, you don't want to hold all that stuff in...that's how you get hemorrhoids.

Oh..... now I hate everything not Star Wars...... okay......new direction for you guys I see.

I don't believe he has a real opinion on anything outside the prequels (which suck), he's just trying to get as much attention as possible at this point.

so p oo eyes? :lol

Yeah, and I don't remember where I read it, but he's not gonna be completely buff, he's gonna be lean and shredded, I can only think of Manapul's Flash :yess:

He can vibrate through dimensions, they're not nerfing anyone, awww yess!

That Flash costume is....something else. Fingerless gloves, no breaks of yellow, no ear wings, so white circle. Hope they don't screw it up.

I dig the chin guard, but that's because I dig New 52 Flash. I feel like he's one of the few characters that actually works with the new designs (love the lightning), plus, a chin guard sort of makes sense. I actually kind of love everything about the TV suit because it just makes sense. When he's traveling at those fast speeds, it makes sense to have something durable that could handle the potential road rash, if you wipeout.

That heavy duty leather is just practical and the chin-guard works the same way.

I really, desperately hope that this movie is great. Even if it does wind up costing me a small fortune, as a lifelong DC fan, I want Batman and Superman's first encounter on the big screen to be as historic as it should be, and I'm still hopeful.

It'd be a tragedy - at least when it comes to movies and things that don't really matter - if they managed to botch that.

Spider-Man 2 is the best superhero movie in my opinion. Every character is great and well acted, the story is perfect, it's an adaption of the best era of comics, the action and effects still hold up and it's a great blend of drama and comedy. The perfect tone.

:goodpost:

This still rings true. :rock2

The Spidey vs. Doc Ock subway roof fight has yet to be equaled in my humble o-pinion.

It's a masterpiece of live-action/CGI superhero combat.

(The clocktower sequence is yet another nerdgasm.)

I didn't like Ock's heel turn to the face at the end, though.

Raimi should have left him mean, and had Spidey kick his twisted *** to the bottom of the river.

That would've been disturbingly true (cause Doc Ock was a total ******* in the comics -- aka the ultimate villain).

As someone who liked all three films, I agree completely with the idea that they weren't totally superhero movies. If anything, they were more about the "man" than the "bat," as Batman seemed like some sort of radical form of therapy for both Bruce Wayne and Gotham, as opposed to some eternal guardian of the night.

:clap

Damn . . . that is the best take on Nolan's trilogy I've ever read on these hallowed boards.
A sophisticated interpretation of a sophisticated trilogy if I've ever read one.

Bravo, batfan08.

Brav-freakin-O!

Fair enough . . . but wouldn't the Speed Force encompass his molecules enough to prevent friction damage?

<Cue Nerd Trumpets Here>

If the ********s that run WB ever figure out how to translate their animation to live action, then we'll all be cheering. :wink1:

Barry Allen Lives!
