This still rings true. :rock2

The Spidey vs. Doc Ock subway roof fight has yet to be equaled in my humble o-pinion.

It's a masterpiece of live-action/CGI superhero combat.

(The clocktower sequence is yet another nerdgasm.)

I didn't like Ock's heel turn to the face at the end, though.

Raimi should have left him mean, and had Spidey kick his twisted *** to the bottom of the river.

That would've been disturbingly true (cause Doc Ock was a total ******* in the comics -- aka the ultimate villain).

:clap

Damn . . . that is the best take on Nolan's trilogy I've ever read on these hallowed boards.
A sophisticated interpretation of a sophisticated trilogy if I've ever read one.

Bravo, batfan08.

Brav-freakin-O!

Fair enough . . . but wouldn't the Speed Force encompass his molecules enough to prevent friction damage?

<Cue Nerd Trumpets Here>

If the ********s that run WB ever figure out how to translate their animation to live action, then we'll all be cheering. :wink1:

Barry Allen Lives!
(and Wally too)

That...that's a very good point that I totally forgot about. I do like how they utilized Jim Lee's busy designs with Flash, though. I like how, whenever he's tapped into the speed force, all those lines light up and crackle with electricity, but, yeah, you've got me there.:lol And way to use the DCAU to do it. In my honest opinion, I might say that's the best continuity in any of DC's media, because it streamlined everything that made the characters great into a world that actually made sense, and it continued to build on it.

You'd know better than anyone. No one knows disappointment like Star Wars fans.:lol

This isn't a well thought out comment. I wasn't disappointed with any Star Wars film. I enjoy them all even if they do have minor/major flaws. Nice try though.

Back to BvS.... they already botched Clark Kent meets Bruce Wayne for me.... I don't have any faith that Superman meets Batman will be any different. Truth be told the first meeting is Superman kicking the batmobile and Batman responding with the "do you bleed....." line.

Whomever is in charge of marketing this film should be fired . They keep it making it look worse and worse . They literally have played out the entire movie in the trailers , TV clips and teasers.

At this point , Warner Bros should just push Suicide Squad.

You can tell yourself that all you like, but search your heart; you know it to be true. In a lot of ways, the PT disappointed you by disappointing everyone else, because, instead of getting to revel in how awesome it was, you're constantly searching for validation, trying to get people to accept it, and often being the target of ridicule for rushing to its defense. You're disappointed in others for being disappointed, so, one could say the movie disappointed you more than anyone else.:lol

I agree. I honestly have never laughed at TV spots for being bad.... but I find myself doing that for BvS. I haven't been really upset with a movie being bad... not like this one or the whole DCCU. I really hope I can turn around and eat crow and be wrong.... I just think these two movies are going to be awful.

I can see a small part of this being true at one point in time. Maybe not to the extent you think, but I will give you credit for actually making a somewhat valid point. I have moved on from it though.... or at least trying to. I won't discuss it anymore...

The one thing I do like from this movie though are the character designs. At first I hated the Batman suit, but it has really grown on me. Same with Wonder Woman. Hated the casting choice, but the overall look of her is nice and is growing on me. Aquaman is awesome too.
