I love the Flintstones...but the design of the characters could be better. And the outfit on the guys could be a little longer...at least cover the knees.
Haha, yeah! Fred and Barney need to show a little less thigh!

The Empire magazine that everyone is nit picking has an interview with Cavill. It mentions that Clark lives with Lois, I don't think this was mentioned before. It's nice that we don't have to deal with Lois not knowing who Clark is in these movies. That was one of the things that always annoyed me in the Reeve movies.
I also find it highly suspicious how much Fred resembles the wrestler Kevin Owens....even the same expression.
It's too much for me. Jim Lee has lost his ******* mind, and I don't know that I'll ever be able to look at his work the same way, again, knowing what it would lead to. Batman Hush is like one of Hitler's paintings, now.
Would any of you guys recommend reading Zero Year? Gaspar?
Yes, read "Zero Year", then Snyder/Capullo's "Death of the Family", and finally "Endgame"....and you have a pretty cool trilogy of the same character by the same writer and artist.
Thanks! I read Death of the Family, and I thought the Joker was too omnipotent, but maybe I was overthinking it! Recently, my interests have been changing on a lot of things, and one of them is I prefer the much darker Batman, and I don't think I was completely ready for it when I read New 52 comics. I'm not really interested in old comics anymore outside of Batman: Year One, Dark Knight Returns, Killing Joke, and Steve Englehart's Batman, so I'm looking for something more complex. I tried Grant Morrison's stuff, and it was good, but I just prefer a more grounded and vulnerable version of the character.
I'm going to go ahead and order the rest of the Scott Snyder trade paper backs off of instocktrades when I get a chance.
Batman's chapter of the prequel comic focuses mainly on a conversation between two thugs, particularly because one is frightened of the Batman dropping in and maiming him. The older, wiser thug tells his pal that Batman has changed and become more ruthless after General Zod's attack on Metropolis. However, he also says that at least Batman won't kill him - unlike his boss if they don't get back to work.
Even though it was ridiculous in the Reeve movies, he played Superman and Clark so differently that it fit into that world. Also in the first two movies Lois did suspect Clark was Superman. They didn't make her a complete ***** until Superman 3.
Someone has done it for some of the latest movies haven't they? Since Age of Ultron. Is WB going to pull a Disney and let him see those films? Probably not.
