I love the Flintstones...but the design of the characters could be better. And the outfit on the guys could be a little longer...at least cover the knees.

Haha, yeah! Fred and Barney need to show a little less thigh!

The Empire magazine that everyone is nit picking has an interview with Cavill. It mentions that Clark lives with Lois, I don't think this was mentioned before. It's nice that we don't have to deal with Lois not knowing who Clark is in these movies. That was one of the things that always annoyed me in the Reeve movies.

That is indeed interresting.
I like that they are not making that a plot point.
Its done, its settled. Next!

Still wonder his they are going to deal with the identity thing.
Will they just ignore and go with it.
I mean they put themselves in a corner with the serious angle.
Smallville and the daily planet folks must definitly know and play along.
But all the rest? Supes us going to the senate, pics of him everywhere, anybody meet Clark in the street could recognize him.
Wont be bothered if they just say Nobody recognizes him tho.
We re talking about a movie where a guys flies.

Even though it was ridiculous in the Reeve movies, he played Superman and Clark so differently that it fit into that world. Also in the first two movies Lois did suspect Clark was Superman. They didn't make her a complete ***** until Superman 3.

It's too much for me. Jim Lee has lost his ******* mind, and I don't know that I'll ever be able to look at his work the same way, again, knowing what it would lead to. Batman Hush is like one of Hitler's paintings, now.

I can...uh...change my avatar and sig if you want! :lol I've actually finally come around to the New 52 Batman design. I still prefer classic Supes because I think his and Daredevil's outfits are the two superhero costumes that are perfect to me. I kicked and screamed, but like a good parent, DC knew what was best for me. I still think the Ben Affleck Costume is my favorite because I love having a big bat, no underoos, and the black and grey coloring. I think a mix between it and the new 52 would be my absolute favorite. Although, I kind of dig this one

Would any of you guys recommend reading Zero Year? Gaspar?

Yes, read "Zero Year", then Snyder/Capullo's "Death of the Family", and finally "Endgame"....and you have a pretty cool trilogy of the same character by the same writer and artist.

Thanks! I read Death of the Family, and I thought the Joker was too omnipotent, but maybe I was overthinking it! Recently, my interests have been changing on a lot of things, and one of them is I prefer the much darker Batman, and I don't think I was completely ready for it when I read New 52 comics. I'm not really interested in old comics anymore outside of Batman: Year One, Dark Knight Returns, Killing Joke, and Steve Englehart's Batman, so I'm looking for something more complex. I tried Grant Morrison's stuff, and it was good, but I just prefer a more grounded and vulnerable version of the character.

I'm going to go ahead and order the rest of the Scott Snyder trade paper backs off of instocktrades when I get a chance.

Bats doesn't kill, apparently.

Everything That All 5 Chapters of the Prequel Comic Taught Us About the World of Batman v Superman

Batman's chapter of the prequel comic focuses mainly on a conversation between two thugs, particularly because one is frightened of the Batman dropping in and maiming him. The older, wiser thug tells his pal that Batman has changed and become more ruthless after General Zod's attack on Metropolis. However, he also says that at least Batman won't kill him - unlike his boss if they don't get back to work.

Another one.

New Batman v Superman Prequel Comic Shows More Details of DC?s Cinematic Universe

Phew! I really don't want to ever see that on screen again. Unless, he's forced to of course, but I think that should be way down the road so it's a huge dramatic moment.

Awesome figures Jye!

I'm extremely curious about this too. This Clark Kent seems to be himself in what ever seen so far. And even if not, he's clearly Superman. And with the realistic approach they've taken (which I love). They can't away with it
