We should keep in mind that, from what we've seen, their first encounter basically has Superman playing kick the can with the Batmobile and totally immasculating Batman, and, when Bats blocks Superman's punch, he seems genuinely dumbfounded, so, I'd say it's a pretty accurate hypothesis.
