Then the fun can start again...
I'm not doing that again. I had a much better version of MoS in my head when I listened to the soundtrack than what was actually put on screen. The OST is "out" if you look in the right places, and quite nice it is too.
The WW theme kicks ass. Mix of guitar-like synth strings and TDK.
No 'Superman attacks Doomsday with cellophane S shield'?
PM me a link, please. Thanks for the heads up, downloading right now.
FYI... all of the Batman music (and part of the Wonder Woman theme) was actually composed by Tom Holkenborg (aka Junkie XL). I believe the OST credits both Zimmer and Junkie XL for everything, but they actually worked on separate themes as well as together.
I guess, "Wonder Woman/Batman Strap On Ballad" is a bonus track? They say that scene was in there before Deadpool.Big time, I saw these:
Batman fights Superman.
Superman fights Batman.
Doomsday arrives.
Doomsday shoots laser beam from eye.
Wonder Woman arrives.
Wonder Woman deflects Doomsday's laser with shield.
Lex Red Capes are Coming.
*******S, WHY DID I LOOK!
You can hear the separation quite clearly. Zimmer is at his usual tom tom drum best, and Junkie stabs electro guitar in every now and again with some synth beats.
Not a lot of "thematic" stuff in there, but it's a fun listen, pretty exciting in places and the MOS stuff I still like a lot.
Had a dream last night (AKA this morning) that I was watching this and it was ****ing awful. I actually woke up and had to go back into the dream out of morbid curiosity
Yeah, not sure who rubbed off on who though (sounds a bit rude),
Zimmer was doing it in Black Rain before Junkie was out of nappies.
Regardless, cool soundtrack from these two.
