These guys are scientists and used to be TV hosts in France. It's not bad surgery that did that to them. They suffer from a genetic disease similar to the one the famous elephant man did.

Don't feel too bad. It's very hard to find any information about whether they really have this disease. Some people believe it's from hormone drugs trying keep them looking young. I don't understand how this disease seems to only affect their heads.
