I am 100% confident that the haters of this in here will never admit if they.liked it.
Or admit any good parts of it.
They can't. The most vocal haters of this would get a lot of flack if they go against their word. They will be mocked non stop for days.

So to you guys that hated this, nothing u say will be true because u will never let us know if u did like it or not.
And I say this to everyone else. Don't believe any of the hardcore haters, u know who they are...

:lol

Cause you know, everything Snyder has ever touched is perfect in every way, all hail Snyder!

That deflection of yours works for a lot of things, I bet.

And of course by that logic not one person who has been defending this as yet unseen movie masterpiece would admit its **** if it sucks donkey balls?
:lol

Exactly!

Those deriding it without seeing it are the same as those praising it, just two sides of the same coin, I guess.

I'm of the mind now that anything Snyder touches is crap, until proven otherwise. Simply based off his body of work.

Opinions on flicks swing on a dime here. Jye went from hating TFA to leg humping it a few posts later. :lol

I think his body of work is actually impressive. 300 is enjoyable. Watchmen is one of the 3 greatest comic book films of all time. Dawn of the Dead was an actually entertaining zombie film and holds up very well. I like MOS. And I never saw the owl movie, so I can't comment on it.

The bolded part especially is true AF. I don't like Snyder, at all. Neither as a person, nor as a filmmaker. He is arrogant, pretentious and doesn't have the works to back up his claims. BUT! I have no opinion on BvS. I have only seen the 3 main trailers, no TV Spots and the like. I've not read any of the major spoilers, besides the ones from last year. I'm over my Batman phase and I was never a Superman fan, so I'm not in a "yasss hype!!!" mode. It's just another CBM for me.

Honestly, I'm starting to feel the fatique a bit, especially tv wise. I'm trying to juggle Gotham, Arrow, Flash, AoS, LoT, Lucifer and they feel more like a chore. Hell, even comics wise I'm feeling that I'm becoming more and more idnifferent towards the Big 2. But, I keep buying them out of habit. Honestly, nothing they do is fresh anymore. Just a bunch of stunts meant to hook new readers for 4 issues and then it's on to the next one. Worst thing is, stuff like Midnighter get cancelled, but bloody Spider-Gwen gets an ongoing! The last time I truly enjoyed a book was Superior Spider-Man, and Fraction's Iron Man (I still count that as probably my favourite run ever). Not to mention those new atrocious "Mighty Men" covers. Jesus, now that's a hypocritical stance...

Quick-Shot Thoughts:

- Not what many are expecting. If you thing this is just 2.5 hours of CGI and fights, then get ready to be way wrong. :lol

- More emotional than any of Zack's movies to date. And there are a handful of moments with some real "feels".

- His persona will still rub many the wrong way, but Eisenberg's Luthor works. He's by far the smartest and most insidiously evil Lex Luthor we've seen yet. He's basically a younger, more conniving, dweebish version of the Animated Series Lex. And damn he is evil. You'll want Supes to punch his face off.

- Anyone who still ******* about Affleck as Batman after this absolutely should lose any credibility. He's not just a great Batman in this, He IS Batman. And even his Bruce Wayne scenes work.

- Gal Gadot is also very good, and absolutely convincing as both Diana Prince and Wonder Woman. I expect her solo film will be HIGHLY anticipated after this.

- Cavill is allowed to "flex" a little bit more here. His Clark seems much more "real" this time, and by the end of this movie all of the "Dark Superman" nonsense should be history.

- There are moments of genuine humor in the film.

- There is one small scene at the end that I actually think would have worked better as a post-credits stinger (there isn't one, by the way). For a couple of reasons: It would simplify the ending (and also cut down on some of the ROTK-esque multiple endings feel some may get)... and it's also the perfect tonal set up for JUSTICE LEAGUE. I love Zack, but some times he does make creative decisions that I don't personally agree with (like much of SUCKER PUNCH :p ). This is one of them. It doesn't really hurt the movie (or the ending), it just kinda annoys me. Because it seems, to me, like a no-brainer. Then again, I'm not the one whose head is on the fire squad. :lol

- I'm not sure if it's come out in the leaked Spoilers, but the thing that makes Batman and Superman stop fighting and form an instant bond is pretty elegant. It makes me wonder if it's ever been done in the comics during one of their many encounters. Wouldn't surprise me. In fact, he would surprise me more if no one had thought of it until now.

- The difference between Goyer and Terrio is Night-and-Day. Terrio is not only a better writer, he's also smart. There's subtext and exposition here about both mythology and theology that Goyer could never had grasped and captured. There's still a slight stench of Goyer on this film (I'd say the final script was about 85% Terrio), but he saved it. JUSTICE LEAGUE is in great hands.

Yeah, you don't know him. At all.

Well, considering we don't even live on the same continent, yeah, I really don't. Is anyone here best buddies with him? But, I've seen/read his interviews and he comes off as a pretentious and arrogant person. That's my image of him, since that's the one he projects. I don't really have to get to know his inner self to be able to critique him on that. He might be the best dude ever and go all Pa Kent to save a puppy, I'm not dissagreeing, but his public persona isn't the best. Just my 0.02$.

Man of stew was the greatest dragon ball z adaptation ever made

Pretty much :lol

y-you... you do?

:lol:lol

Count me in the "I don't like TDKR" camp. It's not that it's awful. But IMO it sort of ruined the other two films. I just got done showing them to my 10 year old and he loved the first two. :)

You were in the list :lol I'm surprised a 10 year old liked the first two films. Younger kids usually find TDK boring.

Do you think the film would be scary or disturbing for children?

Eh. Hard to say, really. Depends on the children and their ages, I guess. There's really nothing too graphic in the PG-13 cut. Batman's first scene (as Batman) could probably frighten kids, because it's done almost like a horror movie. But again, it's more tone and the way it's shot than anything real graphic.

The Superman vs Batman fight isn't very "scary" at all. It's also maybe just 10-15 minutes of the movie. :lol It's one of the things people have been so very wrong about. Many took the scene and shots from the trailers (and the title, of course) and assumed that's a huge chunk of the movie, and it really isn't. To be fair, though, Warner Bros Marketing has more than enabled that mindset... they've promoted it.

I forgot to mention... Amy Adams is a lot better in this than MAN OF STEEL. But those who have a problem with Lois being in the middle of things all the time will likely be annoyed again. :lol I don't mind that at all, though. It's a Superman staple and right out of the comics and the Fleischer cartoons.
