Oh, I know.

But it just seems that many take review sites as some sort decisive factor into their own damn decisions....

I never understood that. People are sheep nowadays.

more than ever......and the critics are amongst the worse

Well, chaps, I'm bowing out of this thread. Already. It's just too negative for my current sensibilities (I purposely cut negative energy out of my life as much as possible these days, and I'm much healthier and happier as a result.) Too much posturing and snarkiness (or worse) for me.

I can see the battle lines have been drawn, and this thread will be an even worse slug fest after a couple more days. And I have absolutely no interest in that. Different opinions are great (both pro and con) but circular arguments bore me to death now. I can't even stand that with important things like politics; so you can imagine how insufferable it becomes for me with things like this. :lol

Anyway, when it comes to this film I'd rather deal in simple facts and anecdotes than personal opinion. But I can see there will also be no place for that here. So, I'm out. You can find me in other less... millennial... threads. :monkey3

Ciao!

I don't blame you Irish. It's gone full ****** in here.
:lol

:lol just :lol
Snyder blames Star Wars for killing more people... he just doesn't get it.

"In an interview with the Wall Street Journal, Snyder admitted he was caught off guard by detractors of Man of Steel. “I was surprised with the fervency of the defense of the concept of Superman,” he said. “I feel like they were taking it personally that I was trying to grow up their character.” The filmmaker remembered a time when someone told him Man of Steel had more collateral damage than any movie in recent memory:

I went, really? And I said, well, what about [‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’]? In ‘Star Wars’ they destroy five planets with billions of people on them. That’s gotta be one of the highest death toll movies in history, the new ‘Star Wars’ movie, if you just do the math."

Don't worry guys. The Lego Batman Movie will let you forget the horrible reviews of BvS. :wink1:

Trailer is coming later today.
I enjoyed the heck out of the LEGO movie, and am actually excited about seeing this one. Will Arnett was such a perfect choice to be the voice, too.

I just love how comics, cartoons/animated movies, live action films, video games and other things try so hard to make people be aware that Batman doesn't kill, then this movie comes out and flushes all of it down the drain. Sounds legit.

Oh no.

Nah, in fairness I've quite a number of reviews today which praised Man Of Steel and then castrated this one.
I don't think that level of Marvel competition exists outside fanboy circles, most of the major publications have slammed this, those guys don't care if it's Marvel or DC.
