It's only 14k votes, it's gonna go way down son :lol

when are you watching this?

Tomorrow.

Man, even if the movie IS terrible, this collective experience has been something :lol like an ARG.

Is this the death of the Snyder-verse?!

Green Lantern, MoS and now this? Geez, can DC make a good movie?
They don't believe in there characters which is why we are in this mess now. They think everyone except batman is a joke.

you guys cant forget this script filmed was AFTER affleck got his writer to fix it..... .

i cant imagine what the original one was like :lol goyer would have probably earn it a 12% tomato score :lol

Hope people Will just go and make their own opinion about the movie, good or bad.
Even if i dont like the movie 100% it doesnt deserves to bomb or such a smear campaign.

A large number of critics not liking what you like doesn't make it a smear campaign, that line of thought really needs to stop, it's getting tired and sounds very childish.

You can get a similar rating on RT's site directly. 85% of the "audience" "liked" it (of course, assuming they've actually seen it). But then, Transformers typically has a similar discrepancy.

And it looks like RT has enough data to "call it" at round-about the score it has now. They have recently added the "Critics Consensus" blurb. Up until now they didn't have enough reviews to include this.

Damn, even the reviewers I like aren't blown away by the movie, like Jeremy Jahns, and that dude always free of critic ********, he tells it how it is.

I just saw this post on 4chung

Major Shakeup For Warner Bros And DC - MOOVIENEWS.com

If this movie is really as bad as people are saying, I would consider not going to see it, but I already bought my ticket so what the hell. Anyway, if it's really as bad, meaning, worse than AoU and all the other crappy MCU movies, then I'm all in for a reboot with George Miller on top, Snyder has been given too many chances and I've supported him enough. I just hope they don't go full MCU because of this, I don't want that **** for DC.

I'll make up my mind tomorrow, see what critics are made of.

You know the crap is really about to hit the fan when execs are going to lose their jobs over this.

I'll reserve judgement until I see the movie on Saturday. I have heard things ranging from outstanding to catastrophe. Even if I don't end up liking it that much I'd want it to succeed otherwise the entire slate could be derailed not just for a year or two, but possibly the foreseeable future. Snyder is a great visual artist but constructing narrative is his challenge. So at most I could see them bringing in a new director that can find the right tonal balance. Maybe even giving it back to George. But again the house is not burning down yet. Audience rating is at 85%.

Just came back from BvS showing. To be honest it is very under whelming. The pacing is all over the place, the story feels like many pieces are missing and the Batman character despite being portrayed by a great actor feels like it was written by someone who doesn't understands Batman very well.

I couldn't believe my eyes at the things that Batman does. This movie really ****s all over the very core that is Batman. The fight scenes are great though but they got the character so wrong.

Superman almost feels like an afterthought in this movie and Henry Cavill almost looks like he is phoning in his performance after such an excellent portrayal in MoS.

I am reserving my judgement on Wonder Woman until the Wonder Woman movie but as of now I feel like they casted the wrong actress for this. Hopefully the standalone movie will do the character justice.

Overall, the thing that really bothers me most is the fact that Batman kills non stop. Like he doesn't care and he kills and kills. Despite great acting from Ben Affleck, it is probably the worse written Batman role since Batman and Robin.

The CGI and design for Doomsday is also horrible and really takes me out of the movie. And as for Jesse's portrayal of Lex Luther, I am not a fan. It is entertaining but it feels like Mack Zuckerberg on meth

This was a false rumor, Affleck denied it himself.

Nah, we'll see, critics consensus says this is worse than Thor 1 and 2, IM 2 and 3, AoU, TIH, etc etc, those are big words, if it isn't true it's only going to reinforce the notion of favoritism and other tinfoil hat Disney shilling theories.

It's Ok- just a fan board on the internet...don't take it seriously

Still weird to read some of the comments of people who havent seen it yet so adamant its gonna be bad.
Reading about Snyder being fired... Dunno outside of the film itself i find people really harsh...
People are just doing stuff to entertain us and some treat them like they commited genocide lol
I mean look at Josh Trank, yeah he kinda brought it up on himself but come on, all these guys were all motivated by passion and whatever the end product is i dont think these guys deserves such things.

This looks like Drew mcwenny all over.
Im sure its again complete BS or just wish full thinking.
The movie isnt even out yet in the us and article like this are trying hard to tank it.
The hate for Snyder and co is real, its reaching filthy levels. Wow.
That being said Miller on JLA would be awesome.

Yeah, I can't imagine, even with the negative critical reception that we're seeing, that a meeting like that would take place before the movie even opens. If it's commercially unsuccessful, that's a different story. But I can't see them completely scrapping everything, post-Wonder Woman, based solely on the reviews that have been released prior to opening weekend. They may make adjustments going forward based on the critical reception, but it will be the dollar amount that determines whether anything gets scrapped and rebooted.

wait so this is all goyer?

Apparently, now they're saying Terrio only touched up the dialogue, but the plot and everything is pretty much Goyer.

I don't care anymore, I've outgrown the critics and the hive mentality at this point, like someone has said a few pages back, this movie is going to live or die on its own merits and I'm gonna be completely unbiased, the rest is noise.

Thank you for the childish thing.
Very Nice of you.
As for liking the movie you might want to read What i said a few pages ago.
I havent read any reviews, but legimate bad reviews are not What im aiming, this going to surprise you coming from a childish guy but i wont be surprised that a lot of people Will end up not liking the movie and even crazier its that i with my childish mind i think they have the right to.
Im talking about articles like this last one from movienews or the Drew mcwenny article based on nothing.
Also the worst being that article about the guy who died of cancer and wanted to see the movie, when you know that the real story is that the guy got his wish actually...
Smear campaign period.

It's clear now that the long-awaited Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice has been met with some pretty harsh reactions from critics, holding close to a 40% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

I recently spoke with a source at Warner Bros who took place in a late-night conference call with execs following the initial flood of negative reviews. The call was moderated by exec Steve Spira and included many of the higher-ups at WB. Here's what my source had to say:

"WB execs are ******** their pants. If [Batman V Superman] makes less than a billion, [Zack] Snyder is out and Justice League will be delayed 8 months."

"Chris Nolan is being courted as a producer and George Miller, David Yates, Louis Letterier, and Vincenzo Natali are all being courted to take over Justice League."

"Wonder Woman is undergoing major rewrites to be more of a standalone film. Aquaman, Cyborg, and Green Lantern Corps. are all on the chopping block."

"Investors are planning a major takeover if [Batman V Superman] flops and have plans to install a board that will order the universe to be rebooted."

I am pretty upset with everything I have been reading. I was going to make a long ranting scathing post..... but I will save it for Thursday night and include my thoughts on the bound to be **** show that is BvS.
