After Zach Snyder said that thing about the killing, I went and looked for the video. I dunno if this is the one he meant, but oh man, this is great. :lol

Watch it.

I don't think the Penguin in Returns or the thugs killing themselves in Forever should count though.

Other than Two-Face, I don't think the rest of Forever ones should count. Batman did nothing to make those happen.

Oh and I ****ing love the Tumbler sandwiching the dump druck. RIP Tumbler.

True, there's always the "Transformers/Fast & Furious" effect. BvS could (and probably will) still be huge, especially overseas.

Definitely not. And the movie still has to be good because not even JEJ Vader will save it otherwise. If he's just stomping around "No"-ing his way from scene to scene as the rebel spies constantly thwart him then forget it.

No way that's going to happen. I bet we see a more agile Vader doing some crazy ninja **** and fighting people.

Man, even West killed a dude with a kick. I thought Clooney killed Bane?

I always thought it was funny how in Begins, Bruce is like, "I won't take this man's life"....and he ends up burning the whole place down and killing a bunch of people, including the guy he didn't want to kill, probably :lol

The Nolan movies suffer the most because they actually address his "rule."

No, that was Robin and Batgirl I think. And Bane doesn't die, he just dejuices into a small little guy. Clooney is the only one that's never killed.

Man, this one is great too. Good or bad, BvS just makes me appreciate all the Batman and Superman stuff more. It's all apart of the lore.

I think it's too early to dismiss BvS from being the top grosser this year, among 2016 releases that is (majority of TFA's take still counts as 2016). There's just so much hype for this movie and features very iconic characters, it's hard to call it this early. Despite poor reviews, OW is still tracking in the range of $140M-$160M dom, and over $300M WW. I'm waiting to see that 2nd weekend drop, there's the off-chance that the GA ends up loving this movie despite the reviews, notably in overseas territories. However if I were a betting man, I'd say CW wins out with BvS and Rogue One battling it out for 2nd place. Rogue One is not gonna do TFA numbers, as it doesn't have the halo effect of releasing after a long hiatus of SW films. Plus like TFA, most of its take will be counted in 2017, so depends how you want to track the #s.

I think it will pass $1 billion total worldwide- without too much trouble. It all depends as you say by audiences tastes...I think it will surprise people by how well it does do...

Well, we won't know until Sunday but if this movie bombs there a plenty of "untouchable" professionals at WB/DC who will soon learn the hard public way just how touchable they really are.

That axe is going to swing far, wide and deep.

No one will be safe....just ask Sony lol.

WB Execs have been notoriously known to be meddlesome. While Snyder does hold most of the blame along with the producers and primary writers (Goyer), I'm sure some Execs shoehorned their dumb ideas into the flick. Like some have mentioned before, it seems to suffer from Spider-man 3 syndrome and packing too much in too soon and forgetting you need a decent plot to keep it together.

While one can argue that Civil War might suffer the same with too many characters, keep in mind that most of the individuals in it we've "gotten to know" from the previous Marvel flicks and we have yet to see how the Russo's handle a huge ensemble cast. But they're also coming off the highly-praised Winter Soldier movie, which is arguably one of Marvel's best. Zach Snyder seems to rub most fans the wrong way. I think he's OK and I've enjoyed most of his movies despite the fact I've seen better writing and plot in even some of Marvel's weakest efforts.

I hope this does do well enough to drive DC's Cinematic Universe. They've got Suicide Squad coming up and are filming Wonder Woman and it would be a shame if the rumors about ANOTHER reboot are true. Maybe they just need to cut loose on Snyder and Goyer and grab another director and writer, because overall it just seems like Snyder doesn't "get" these characters. At the very least I'm glad to hear Batffleck is getting positive reviews as I've always been on board with his casting.

I've been reading some feedback from the film and a lot of people are saying it's too dark... hasn't that been the case with DC in recent years other than Green Lantern? I'm pretty sure no one was taking their kid to go see TDK. :lol

I like darker, grittier films moreso than ones with too much comedy or weak/lame villains. On the other hand, Marvel's Netflix stuff is darker than any DC films and those are my favorite.

^ I've heard the opposite about WB, that studio tends to be viewed in the industry as the least meddlesome. 'Talent friendly' is their motto, they let directors, writers, and actors have more free reign than other studios. Which in the case of the DCEU, might actually not be a good thing.

I work with a guy that is the biggest (ie most emotional unstable) Batman fan I've ever known, and waiting on his review. If he says its 'good' I will see it in the theater and pay $$$ for a tix. If he says pass, I will wait for Torrent

So, Sups has probably killed more people than Lex...hmm :lol

Luke laughs at your Supermen.
