I really was a rematach of Superman vs Zod.

Yeah i was hoping that Doomsday would have had some sort of conscience, memories from Zod.
Instead hes just going full blown king kong.
If he had some memories the fight would have been probably more exciting and dangerous.
The fact that Shannon is supposed to have shot scenes gave hope that it would have been a rematch of some sort.
Also i looked out Doomsday original design i dont get the complains about his design, hes straight put of the comic books.
Not my coup of tea design, quite uninsprired but Snyder is trying to be faithfull.
Seems There is absolutely no win for him from some, its just lose lose lol

I am adsolutely enjoying studying the release of this movie...the media critics, the YT stars, the forums, the box office, the audience reactions.

I have never seen anything like it.

I hope it makes a billion just this weekend.

As for your complaint,

i think that the event was probably filmed and analyzed in every way possible in the aftermath.
And in the end its basically Supes gave his life to kill that monster created by Lex.
Enough in my book to sway the doubters haters.
Its not spelled out for you, and yeah a montage of the people reacting to his dead (and not just the funerals) right after would have worked. Some Tv coverage with an journalist saying "Superman is dead i repeat Superman is dead" with people watching on Tv at bars, work and at home. Maybe in the extended cut.
But I think it works

That might have worked and I see your point. I really am hoping the extended cut expands on some of these things.

Eh, the Messiah comparisons got old... and fast. there's nothing intelligent or groundbreaking about comparing the powerful hero to God, it's just pseudo-intellectual BS, and a badly done one at that. Superman's supossed to at least try and instil hope. This one was reduced to being a mopey, tired, angsty guy. Different strokes for different folks, but that's my main problem with the film...

Watching from a religious standpoint like I did, this movie makes a lot of sense and actually brings up a very emphatic tone that motivates lex to bring down the supermeh. It's the classical why man must bring down God in his eyes as he tries and explains it and I understand how this movie made people hate it because it seemed to religious, they kept bringing God a lot

Suicide Squad looked glorious and got a good reaction.

Lego Batman got laughs.

I'm still wondering why there was a bat signal and who would use it in this Gotham.

RT is a JOKE- watch how well this does with audiences worldwide........RT does not gauge or control the success of a movie whatsoever

How is RT a joke? They didn't write the reviews. They just compiled them.

It is astounding to me how many memes and posts I've seen the past few days with something to the effect of "I don't trust the Rotten Tomatoes review!" or "Rotten Tomatoes gave it an unfair score!" in regards to BvS. Do that many people really not understand what Rotten Tomatoes does? They don't make up that score based on their own opinions. It is a percentage based on the ratings of hundreds of critics across the nation. In the case of BvS, there are so far 205 reviews accounted in the total. 143 of those gave it a negative review, while 62 gave it a positive review. Thus... it has a 30% positive rating, and a 70% negative. So when folks say "Rotten Tomatoes has it wrong!", they really don't have anything wrong. They aren't even giving you their opinion on the flick... They are just summarizing all the critics reviews into one number for you.

If there is anything that you can't put much stock in at RT, it is the audience score unfortunately. There is no way of knowing if half of those votes have even seen the film yet (since it didn't even really open until last night.... yet thousands of people had already voted on it early this week). Heck, the very first score listed was made back in 2014. Yeah... That user gave it 4 stars back in 2014. Now how exactly was he able to see it then? Easy answer- He didn't. A lot of folks were just so sure it was going to be good that they voted with hopes, and not with an actual viewing experience. Now that the film is out and people are actually seeing it, it is pulling down all those "hopeful" votes. It has dropped 20% in 2 days.

Simple stuff here. Those critic scores are from people that actually have seen the film. That is their job. They are reviewing based on their experience and not what they hope it will be. They aren't paid by Disney or Marvel... They are just doing their jobs and reviewing the movie. You may not agree with them, but that is just how it is.

Batsignal is a great deterrent, just light it up and watch the criminals cut their crap, like those speed signs that always make me slow down even though there's no cop around.

This is one of those clear cases where negative media buzz would make someone watch it to decide for themselves if it's worthy or not. I hope this movie does make a billion just from negative vibes.
