I love that scene in the movie, well, up until those flying insect things with the googles start attacking him.

That "oh ****" look on Batman's face when they trick him with the green light and everyone starts pulling out their guns and rifles was really cool. I can picture the story leading up to this like Batman has a band of soldiers in this apocalyptic world and this is like the big stand off scene where you think Batman and his men finally have the kryptonite but is captured by the enemy. Kinda makes me sad because if that was in a completely different movie, the tension and the way it was shot would definitely work.

A lot of scenes on their own are great, like the moment where Luthor is riding on his motorcycle in the rain to Lex Corp and sees that Batman stole his ****. It's kind of the "answer" to the scene above. Too bad most of these ideas are in a mess of a story and movie because on their own, they're definitely cinematic and interesting. This movie is like a weird dream you have where you can't really remember all the parts to it because of how random all the events are. Then you wake up and you remember little pieces of it, then read it back off to yourself and it doesn't make any sense. :lol

Will you watch it again?

This movie had more dreams than Inception. A dream within a dream and hobo Flash from the future saying random stuff :lol

This.

That video with Affleck speaking fluent Spanish reminds me, there's that scene in the movie where Wayne is at that seedy, fight club bar spying on that Russian guy. I thought that moment where Bruce whispers something (a fighting tactic obviously) into the struggling black fighter's ear and then true around and ends up winning the fight was fantastic. A cool "Batman" moment with Bruce throwing down his winning bet, speaking Russian (but pretending to be humble about it like he can't speak it), the device that scanned the thing on the counter and that little smirk he had. All well done.

So many elements that I can think of that work when you take them out of context from the movie and think of them as their own seperate entity. When this comes out on home video, I bet we see a ton of YouTube videos where the Batman/Bruce Wayne and Alfred scenes are isolated and condensed as one.

What a weird mess.

I want Superman to return with a mullet.

So what's next? Everyone dissected this film left and right...all eyes on Civil War now?

So, Snyder's gonna stay and finish his Seven Samurai Justice League?

Do want, as long as he's bad though.

Nah, bad Superman should look like the Earth-2 Redesign. Good, Post-Rebirth Superman should wear his "healing" suit. IMO, always. I think black&red makes for great villainous costumes.

PS: No Lex Luthor book in Rebirth, but he'll be somewhat Co-Starring as a new Superman in Action Comics. Semi-Bummer...

Just saw this. Dont really understand the hate its getting. I genuinely enjoyed this, which I thought I would hate.

I hate Superman but I actually liked this interpretation. I loved Affleck too

Is it not just a case of that the DC Universe was never destined to be a 'huge' success at the movies? In regards to Marvel their characters are more family friendly, kids love Spider-Man (really love him!) and characters like Iron Man and Hulk are fun and big and bright, kids live them too. Outside of Batman I'm not really a DC fan and I think this is the case for the general audience, well apart from Superman.

I don't think DC knows how to make live action movies

I'm now excited for the 3 + hour cut of this movie.

I have a feeling that it will address many of the subplot problems.

I don't want more cgi blood I want a smoother narrative.

The interesting thing about Bruce "uniting the seven" is that Supes won't be one of them, posing the question of - who will the seven be?

1. Batman
2. Wonder Woman
3. Aquaman
4. The Flash
5. Cyborg
6. Green Lantern
7. ?

But of course he wasn't gonna get a book, wasn't that pic from JL#50? It's straight up Fabok. I am curious about his change of character, since the Amazo virus Lex has been throwing shade at gods, like a reminder, I wonder how he'll react to being a god now.

Could work, minus chains, those chains are stupid imo. But if I could have it my way, I'd use earth-2 President Superman but black instead of blue as the Evil Superman costume. white cape and all.

Makes zero sense
It does. Darkseid revives him, gives him a black costume.

What if, by the end of it, when **** is going down and everybody gets their ass handed to them... Supes returns to save the day, making him the seventh member.
