You would think. I mean

Clark Kent and Superman die on the same day. Both look similar :dunno Then again, everyone who could recognize Supes during the hearing all died.

Yeah. I don't remember what happened to Clark during the comic storyline.

Gotta say, even though I didn't love this movie I wouldn't mind a trench-coat, begoggled Batman toy.

Now that I've read the "injustice" stuff posted here I want to talk to my buddy who I saw the movie with. his first question was "why is Batman psychic?"

Is it not just a case of that the DC Universe was never destined to be a 'huge' success at the movies? In regards to Marvel their characters are more family friendly, kids love Spider-Man (really love him!) and characters like Iron Man and Hulk are fun and big and bright, kids live them too. Outside of Batman I'm not really a DC fan and I think this is the case for the general audience, well apart from Superman.

Not at all. The characters aren't to blame, and they most certainly have the potential to be stars of well made motion pictures. These current WB films are cases of often great workmanship following a flawed blueprint based on fundamentaly poor decision making.

I love that scene in the movie, well, up until those flying insect things with the googles start attacking him.

That "oh ****" look on Batman's face when they trick him with the green light and everyone starts pulling out their guns and rifles was really cool. I can picture the story leading up to this like Batman has a band of soldiers in this apocalyptic world and this is like the big stand off scene where you think Batman and his men finally have the kryptonite but is captured by the enemy. Kinda makes me sad because if that was in a completely different movie, the tension and the way it was shot would definitely work.

A lot of scenes on their own are great, like the moment where Luthor is riding on his motorcycle in the rain to Lex Corp and sees that Batman stole his ****. It's kind of the "answer" to the scene above. Too bad most of these ideas are in a mess of a story and movie because on their own, they're definitely cinematic and interesting. This movie is like a weird dream you have where you can't really remember all the parts to it because of how random all the events are. Then you wake up and you remember little pieces of it, then read it back off to yourself and it doesn't make any sense. :lol

Just saw the movie. Went in optimistic. Worst than expected.

The build up to the fight between them is just a mess. Too much crap for the sake of adding screen time in my opinion.

A few good things though
The Batman fight against the thugs is the best Batman fight scene to date (live action).

And Aquaman looked cool

We are hardcore geeks and we're trying to figure this **** out, imagine the general public! :lol
