Gadot didn't do anything other than stand, look curious, stare at a laptop and cross her wrist. :lol

That smile she gave Doomsdaynation was dumb.

That's pretty much what Superman did too, except instead of crossing his wrist, he dies :lol

The warrior in her loves the challenge....plus imagine what's she's like...you know where :monkey5 :naughty

Yeah, my bad, that one, black costume with white cape, pretty slick.

Did you like the new costumes? I think Supes' is cool, I just hate that he has blue boots, I like the post new52 costume better.

I LOVE Lex's new look, so there's that. Wonder Woman is not wearing the US flag, but rather keeping her Darkseid War costume, so that's a MAJOR plus for me. The rest look pretty much the same. Glad to see Hal got a haircut and that Constantine is looking a bit more gruff. I always liked Baz's costume and character, so I'm interested in him being in the JL. Batman's costume looks cool, I guess.

They mentioned that there's still one major announcement left for EmeraldCon. Earth-2 was absent, JLA was announced and Hickman is writting something. My guess? JLA will be JSA just rebranded, with Hickman writting and set in Earth-2.

Exactly in bold :)

Superman was great in this film IMO and was the surprise of the film for me. I did not care for him in MOS but thought he hit the right notes in this film.

I did like the far shot of the battle, I believe it was from Lois's perspective, where WW/Superman looked like hot speeding bullets while being punched by Doomsdaynation. :lol

Take a bucket of grandma's peach tea and call it piss? :lol

Senator was lucky she didn't use a chocolate brownie metaphor. :lol

And yet she was still better than Jennifer Lawrence and Scarlet Johansson :lol

Gal looked flawless , it was just ''TEASER" of WW. so I think she is best badass female character now. I love Lawrence and Johanson too but. come one. Gal has amazing body.

Like I said to each their own, but she was only in the movie for like ten minutes. Let's talk after her solo movie.

I loved that smile.. Showed that the warrior in her loves a good fight.

i thought it looked like she was aroused honestly. It's interesting that they had that moment with her but not when superman hit zod. That was the first time he actually hit someone with intent to hurt. That must be an overwhelming feeling

Woah. I just saw your review pturtle. I'm glad you liked it so much! I hoped you would, but I was not expecting it!

I'm surprised that you liked this Gaspar being that Superman is your guy. I thought he was completely thrown under the bus. You're not the only one. I checked to see what other big Superman fans thought who hated Man of Steel, and they liked this entry. I thought Henry Cavill's acting was really bad, especially in the "Be there hero, Clark" scene. I thought Superman fans would be so upset how they
killed major Superman characters and how he was constantly hated for certain things that any rational person couldn't blame him for (I hated how Bruce was so ruthless in trying to kill him), and then he was hit with a nuke, and then killed.
From what I've seen, most people either liked or really liked this movie. When Age of Ultron, Dark Knight Rises, Man of Steel, and Iron Man 3 came out, people were constantly ripping on them as abominations. I haven't seen that with BvS. I never looked or listened to reviews before watching the film, and loathed it as an incoherent mess and I disliked all the characters, except for Wonder Woman.

I haven't read any critic reviews, and I'm actually shocked the Rotten Tomato score was so low because I thought they would have liked the artsy opening, but I looked at fan reviews, and they've been pretty darn positive. I almost burst out laughing at how ridiculous the stuff was with the pearls and the dream sequence, and I had to bite my tongue at a lot of the Superman and Lex Luthor scenes because I didn't want to be laughing at a film out of respect for the people enjoying the movie (there were a lot of kids in my theater, so I would have been a monster if I did that!). I'm shocked that super fans like this Batman. Then again, I didn't like Keaton Batman. I thought he was a pathetic jerk. Nothing against Ben Affleck though! He could be the best Batman; it's just I didn't like the writing.

This is the first movie that I ever had such a negative response to. Even with Spider-man 3, I still had a good time just being in the theater and I enjoyed a lot from it. I didn't like anything in BvS. Out of context, I think the fight choreography might have been incredible in certain scenes, but since I didn't like the character, I just didn't care. Even though I thought the Amazing Spider-man 2 was a mess, I still thought the chemistry was great with Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone, and I was excited for a third movie. After seeing BvS, I never wanting to watch anything else from these characters.

I'm not trying to be a hater by any means, and I keep reading everyone's comments because I'm trying to figure out what the heck was wrong with me. I loved the Dark Knight Rises and Iron Man 3, despite their problems, and I know a lot of folks hate them here, so I guess I have to accept I'm a total oddball on this one. Even though, I wasn't fond of the Avengers because of the humor and character choices, I still thought it was a good movie, and I understand why so many thought it was amazing. I still liked the Captain America and Iron Man scenes in that movie, and I thought there was a lot of interesting action sequences. Plus, I thought the adoption joke was funny! Based on everyone's hatred of Man of Steel and these trailers, I feel like I'm in Bizarro World! And I'm a guy that really liked the second Batman V Superman trailer!

I think that's from a deleted scene where he's greeting kids at an elementary school.

Kinda pisses me off how these movies handle Superman/Clark Kent.

Henry Cavill isn't the greatest actor, but damn, I know there is a good Superman in there. Have you guys seen him in interviews and stuff, how energetic and well spoken he is? He's got that charming smile too. Remember the end of Man of Steel with that positive and upbeat Clark? What happened to that? Even the "you're kinda hawt" scene had a Superman with potential for humor and wit.

Why do they insist on making Superman so dour and speechless? We experienced that with Man of Steel already. In the African scene, he looks like a straight up demented psycho when he crashes down through the ceiling. How about instead of having him angrily smash the terrorist through the wall, he subdues the guy in a humorous way? I'm not saying he needed to say some Marvel-ite cheesy quip, but this guy has it all and can do anything. Why make him such a brooding bore? Batman is the one that is tortured, Superman doesn't need to be. I can understand scenes like the Congress hearing where he looks sad and disappointed that everyone in the room died because of Luthor's bomb. That's an intense and sad moment for the character, but he's like this throughout the whole movie! You can tell his direction is to be as menacing and unhappy as possible and it's just awful.

The way they play that scene when Superman rips off the top canopy of Batman's Batmobile is terrible. They play it so straight with that stupid bombastic, "epic" music, and they're both so stiff and serious that, to me, it's unintentionally hilarious. They're both so goofy. The dialogue is awful too and Superman is acting ********. Superman looked like he just smelled a fart or dirty socks or something throughout that scene. How about during the Batmobile chase, the Batmobile is suddenly lifted up and Batman starts looking confused/worried as he pushes on the gas pedal and realizes he's stopped and doesn't have any control. Then it's revealed that Superman lifted him up and moved him away from the chase to a different location. That would be so much better than that awkward scene where Superman is standing there in the middle of the road like a zombie or a freak and lets Batman hit him. Then how about instead of Superman ripping off Batman's doors, you have him tap/knock on the window, smiling like "yeah, I got ya mother ****er, you're done". Have Superman treat Batman like this little child, scolding him instead of that weird dialogue with the bad accent that Superman has. You should put Batman in a position of humility and Superman knowing this. Have Superman joke with him about how powerless he is or something. Instead of that cringey, redundant dialogue have him say "if they shine your light in the sky, don't go to it, you're done Bruce. Last warning" all cool and calmly. If you changed the tone to that scene and started with something funny on Superman's part, it would have played so much better. Could have worked. Batman should be the only angsty, pissed off character in that scene.

SPOILER
I wonder it was impossible to just doomsday's head with WW's sward ? as she cut his hand. I'm not sure doomsday can grow second head :D
