I think Iron Man 2 is the same as this. This reminded me a lot of Iron Man 2. long movie where nothing good happens. this is Iron Man 2 all over again.

This is not even close to Spiderman 3, Spiderman 3 is FUN to watch...Entertaining. Watching this felt like doing homework for math class

The movie was technically bad, but I enjoyed it and will see it again. It suffers from editing issues, pace, kills it own momentum and had scenes that didn't belong. Does it deserve a 29%? No, but that 29% is just critics who really liked it. The average rating from critics is 5/10. It probably should be a point or two higher at most, but this movie is flawed in many ways. It reminds me of Attack of the Clones.

You can't blame Disney conspiracy theory for the problem, just accept it was bad and be happy it is still making money and more movies from DC are on the way.

Disney doesn't want it to fail. Competition is good. Look at WWE vs WCW. Highest ratings of all time when those two were battling it out for ratings. Now WCW is dead and WWE is struggling in all aspects from ratings to creativity.

Even if that were true, do you honestly think Marvel wants all other CBMs to fail? If bad CBMs become the majority once again and oversaturate the market, theirs will be hurt as well.

Its not looking that way. Just look at the internet right now. Youtube, Facebook, Twitter...the masses cheer at the notion of another DC failure. For every positive mention of BvS there are three negative ones that end with CAN'T WAIT FOR CIVIL WAR!!!!

Disney is increasing its CBM output to 3 a year now. The hypothetical demise of this DC Cinematic Universe would be a huge victory in their eyes.

this was dreadful and it was so long... so much unnecessary things

the whole africa bullet thing was ridiculous.... not needed, i cant believe that was greenlit.... i wish they cut everything involving the bullet out, Felt like came out of Law and Order or something...

Lex plans made no sense... Yeah I KNOW he hates Superman, I KNOW he wants to take him out. But he didn't even wait to see if Batman beat him before creating that Cave troll thing....
It made no sense he was playing with Zod's body if he was counting on Batman to beat him, AND if he KNEW batman wasn't going to beat him then WHY the HELL make them fight...........
It's not that lex plan to take out Superman didn't make sense, It made perfect sense, he wanted to take out God. that makes absolutely perfect sense..... I completely understood why he wanted to destroy him. He wanted to destroy a perfect being. (reminded of fight Club when they say "I wanted to destroy something beautiful")
BUT WHAT a CONVOLUTED PIECE OF CRAP....

not even the batman scenes saved this for me, not even the cool batman stuff. it was dreadful. and Boring. BORING...

When critics say that this movie is not fun and it should be like Marvel, I dont think they mean that they want one liners and stuff like that. I think what everyone means is that This is just dull and boring.
One hour into the movie, nothing important had happened and not big action scenes had happened. nothing... some crap about the bullet, some crap about Lex and that peach tea lady... I did notice one hour into the movie, nothing good had happened.

to be perfectly honest the best part for me was when Doomsday showed up.... I felt like I woke up from daydreaming, Doomsday was actually fun. it was fun, it was cool, the last fight was the only thing worth seeing this for. that and batman beating superman (Which was kind of stupid because Superman could have just fly away or pick up batman and fly into the air when he first arrives... wtf)
Superman could have just literally pick him up and talk to him on the air... the moment he put his hand on him. I expected batman to hit him with kryptonite as soon as he showed up.

I hate to say it but I can see why people hated it.
I was a big fan of Man of steel, I legitimately liked it and this made me hate it now.

Highlights, Wonder woman of course
Cave Troll saved the movie for me.

I have to say.... I don't see why people say pacing is a problem, but like I've said, I was familiar with the plot long before the movie was released, so that maybe helped.

Is it too fast? Too jumpy? I thought the editing was fine, the pacing was a bit slow at first and a bit fast at the end, nothing dizzying. I do think they should've shown Batman seeing the metahuman files instead of showing WW, but that's about it.

I don't see that, at all. Every BvS story is either filled with "Dumb critics, BVS is the best movie ever" comments, and people just saying that yes, it was bad, but not that bad and that they're excited for the future. Are there bad apples that cheer about the score? Sure. But the Nolan-Boys did the same thing during IM2's release and the MoS fans with IM3. Fanboys exist, I don't see how that points to a conspiracy. Unless we're going from "bought the critics" to "bought the audience" as well...

I just love how people easily discard what would be one of the simplest ways for a billion-dollar corporation to influence box office and damage box office competition.

Take Matt Goldberg at Collider. The guy pretty much hates everything. Yet that epic film snob gave IRON MAN 2, THOR: THE DARK WORLD, IRON MAN 3, AOU & ANT-MAN positive reviews. He also bashed MOS & BvS.

Does Goldberg really think THOR: THE DARK WORLD is a good film? No ****ing way. But if he gave it an honest review that Disney check for $20K wouldn't have made it to his bank account.

Now picture that same scenario with a hundred critics willing to accept those checks. Its pocket change to Disney.

BvS did great this weekend but it wouldn't surprise me if the negative press will affect it over the next month because sadly alot of people listen to critics.

I know this is going to sound weird but this didn't even feel like a Snyder movie... Snyder movies might be annoying for people but never boring, not even Sucker punch is boring. I was annoyed at Sucker punch but i never felt dread and dull feelings. I dont know what to think, If I saw this without knowing who made it i would never guess it was Snyder. ever. none of his other projects feel like this.

makes me wonder about all the freedom they say he got. it anything it feels like producers putting their hands in the pie.
