Don't forget Batman's new sidekick!

Why stop there?! Bring in the Punisher, so that he and Moon Bat can exchange tactics:

Yeah, I don't think they'll go for a straightforward approach to Red Hood.

My guess is they'll play it like Se7en. Where instead of a "John Doe" killing people in Gotham, there's a "Red Hood" doing that. Then you learn when Jason's not in his Robin duds, he's wearing the red hood.

In summary, you merge Red Hood with Robin.

Its ****ing tragic and would perfectly explain why Snyder told Affleck than by the start of BvS, Batman has been morally bankrupt for a decade.

The purist in me says "**** no", but the fan-boy who just wants to see new, cool stories says "**** yes"... Just don't let Snyder anywhere near it...

That's why I'm all for INJUSTICE & the Jason Todd/Joker approach. They're a welcomed alternative to telling the same stories all over again.

I have a feeling the Snyder hate will reduce once his cut is released on Bluray. The editing was the biggest problem with the film and the R-rated 3 hour, 6 minute cut might resolve that problem.

Thing is, that's not Injustice, it's just Superman (probably) gone bad through Darkseid's influence. It's all speculation at this point, but literally nothing points towards an Injustice storyline. I don't know why people are so fixated on that storyline and acting like it's been confirmed...

For those who don't think Disney controls everything, today The force awakens came out on digital HD, and for the first time, I see this in iTunes.

If we ever get a JL/Aliens cross-over film, they've gotta handle it like WildCATS/Aliens did. And honestly, I think Snyder's the man to do that.

Didn't that crossover remain canon in the old Wildstrom Universe? Such stories are often than not disregarded, but I seem to remember that whoever died there, remained dead.

The Knightmare sequence clearly showcases Supes went into warlord mode after Lois' death, which he blames on Bruce. That means Joker will probably kill Lois prior to those events in JLA.

Sounds like INJUSTICE to me.

I'm trying to think back to tidbits about this film that were discussed over the years that I glossed over. I believe at one point it was announced that Superman's screen time was being reduced even after principal photography was completed and Batman's expanded? Does anyone know what the film was supposed to be like before, what was jostled around, etc., assuming any of that was actually true?

Not really. Injustice/Regime Supes was a strict dictator who tried to keep a tight grip on the world, so that it would be safer. He didn't want to kill innocent people, he wanted to prevent that, but his moral code got wraped in the process. Knightmare Supes is a warlord in a wasteland with Darkseid's logo carved on the earth. That sounds more like a brainwashed Superman to me. Besides, Regime Supes made his own choices and never allied with Darkseid, but with Sinestro and his corps. Really, the only similarities are that they're both evil. The circumstances and their goals are vastly different.

But Knightmare Supes had human troops. That suggests he sees Darkseid's dominion as a way to protect humanity, when in reality he's subjugating them. He's not just some Darkseid henchman who wants to destroy mankind.

It screams INJUSTICE to me.

Never mind the fact that it's speculation based on just a few minutes of footage, it literally goes against everything Injustice Superman stood for. All he did was to protect the earth, why would he help Darkseid destroy whole cities? In Injustice yes, he's evil, but he's still "good" enough to have some Leaguers allign themselves with him. Knightmare Superman is completely evil. As I said, this is more in line with Earth-2 Nu52 Superman rather than Regime Superman but eh, whatever. We'll see. As someone who's read the Injustice (most, but not all yet) and Earth-2 stuff (everything, up until the awful World's End), this doesn't scream Injustice to me at all. But eh, whatever floats your boat.

I was waiting for Jena Malone to show up as either Carrie Kelly or Oracle. Joke's on me.
