I had that issue of What If? I also liked this one:

Disney: "Peach...I could eat a peach for hours."

Scientist: "Perfect match. 100% Snyder."

Disney: "Secret identities suck, dialogue sucks. If I could make a three hour movie about Pa Kent and Superman in street clothes I would..."

Those are very strange quotes if real. Zack actually came up with a cool voice modulator so that a famous billionaire could more believably conceal his voice...when in fact he really thinks that hiding his identity is "ridiculous?" That's weird.

And he "came to the conclusion" that the most bankable genre in film containing hours of costumed superheroes talking to each other each and every year...suddenly isn't credible unless the heroes just shut up and start fighting? Is this a joke?

Well, I posted the sources and even the audio track. You could go over that, but it's over 2 hours. I listened the beggining, and Snyder's getting interviewed, so yeah, I'd say it's legit. The MoS stuff is in video in the CBM link, which I saw, so it's 100% real. Yeah, these are real, definitely. Dunno what to make of them, honestly.

Batman talking with ra's al ghul both in full costume at the end of Batman Begins... I cant believe Snyder said that, might be fake

it's weird because how are they going to handle Justice League if characters talking to each other is unrealistic and ridiculous.

(How come Zod in his uniform talking to Superman was not ridiculous in Man Of Steel? they talked a lot.... wouldn't that be just as ridiculous as batman talking to superman? )

dont forget this little gem, Demon batman talking to a scared scarecrow lol...

Yeah, you're right. In MOS all their dialogue was in full costume. Maybe he saw the film later and I thought it looked silly, and he was like, "let me tone it down", especially since people made fun of Bale's voice, so it could be a reaction to the Bale Batman having so much dialogue, and he just wants to go back to the Keaton era when Batman only had a few lines, but that won't work in a JL movie.

Yeah, I started listening and it seems totally legit. He goes into the guys in suits talking bit about 6 minutes in. He also says it was important to start with Olson dying that way to set the tone, that this isn't your father's DC comics movie! . . .only they forgot to tell the audience that was Jimmy Olsen (they actually edited it out!), which kind of undercuts that argument.

Well BvS just might be the world's first two and a half hour "happy accident" then. Not sounding too good for Justice League...

could be a voice double.

how hard would it be for disney to get an actor to sound like snyder?

It's just so weird. Secret identities are ridiculous. But not capes. :cuckoo:

VFX guy: "Okay I animated his cape to twirl around as he spins through the air to dodge the laser beams. Should he say anything?"

Snyder: "Say anything? Absolutely not. I don't want this to get silly."

And how do you explain the Empire guys interviewing him? I'm gonna go with clone. I mean, if anybody has perfected cloning, that's gotta be Disney. I'm telling you, they kidnapped Snyder and replaced him with a clone, who's completely under their thumb. The perfect plan...

If secret identities are ridiculous, then why have Clark fooling people with the glasses, especially the "world's greatest detective", Bruce Wayne or his co worker, which he saved in MOS? Why not just do what Iron Man did at the end of the first film...oh...right, Disney did it.:lol That was such a smart move though.

It all makes sense now! It's why he killed Supes, so that he could destroy his Secret ID!

Man, Zack likes to needle online fans via the press. :lol

I often wonder if it's his own personal game of trolling the trolls or something. He always shrugs off the hate, but with stuff like this it's almost like he's welcoming it ala "Come at me, bros." I do know that part of it is he doesn't mind painting the target on his own back so that folks tend to leave everyone else associated with his movies alone for the most part.

Regardless, he's either being purposely obtuse or facetious (or both). But he'll never admit it. :lol I'm just surprised no one has even noticed it before (that he often says things that don't jibe with what he actually does). I mean, now he even has Khev in a tizzy. :lol

JUSTICE LEAGUE is full of the heroes, in costumes. Talking to each other. And it's even more "comic bookish" and a bit lighter than BvS.

Troll on, Zack.

:duff
