I find little tolerance on the boards for discussions. I've read some good discussions but I find the majority of post taking either your with me or against me stance....and if your against me your a troll or conspirator. It isn't inclusive to the movie section either.....

Jye loved this and I haven't had any bad arguments with him, Irish was involved with this movie and I don't recall us trashing each other. Not everyone is hostile.
Some people can handle the jokes.
Besides the only people being called trolls are always the haters, always, u can be a troll defender and never be called out for it.

I have to admit, Marvel/Disney did in 8 years what DC/WB couldn't do in almost 40 years, and they have been pretty consistent from from a critical stand point, unlike WB. They need to put someone in charge...like a Kevin Feige figure to oversee the up coming films.

Amazing how what I said months ago keeps popping up in this thread and people agree with it... but when I say it... oh no..

I am not agreeing with him... I was being sarcastic. Read what he wrote and read what I wrote again

He was complaining about the same thing with BvS as you do with the PT and people hating on it. I was basically pointing out that you could say the same thing about those who like a film and constantly defend it. What is the difference if you return to a thread a 100 times to complain about a film or a 100 times to praise a film?

The only way I could see an argument against it is if it happened to be a film that you did not like but had no interest in in the first place. Then it would seem kind of silly to keep returning. But obviously this was a film that people had a lot of interest in so the opinions on both sides are going to be running high.

Again I laugh when people get frustrated over opposite views... Discussion forums would suck if we all just agreed with each other.

I was already beginning to lose confidence in critics but BvS pretty much sealed the deal for me.

Really hope Snyder speaks up at some point. Something short but sweet like "I don't want the approval of anyone who contributed to a crapola like ANT-MAN scoring an 80%."

Only the sheep with little imagination or sense actually go by what RT says...fueled by useless critics.
Really IM2- what a piece of crap- talk about cobbled togeher, disjointed- it is the most choppy and unfocused movie I have seen in ten years but it got 72%? Must have praised it because of ScarJo's a** or something

Well after the trashing John Carter and Lone Ranger got...I enjoyed them both and especially LR......they just tore those apart at the seams

of course the critics matter! for those of us who have fun with the movie business and find it to be a hobby, reading the reviews are just part of the process. And it lets us see things from a non-fanboy angle. Reviews aren't be-all end-all, but they are fun to read (if sometimes painful to read).

If I lived in a little bubble and never heard any other opinions about BVS I would rank it up there, like really high up there. But hearing all the criticism deflated that, and I came to my senses that the movie was a bit of a mess. Although 29% of critics liking it is still a head scratcher.
