Really IM2- what a piece of crap- talk about cobbled togeher, disjointed- it is the most choppy and unfocused movie I have seen in ten years but it got 72%? Must have praised it because of ScarJo's a** or something

Haha I'm a Marvel fan and it's pretty obvious that IM2 sucks ... Glad I can say that here without people getting all riled up like they did in the figure section when I said that.

Yeah, ironman 2 wasn't the greatest comic movie ever. But how many of these comic book movie writers ever really see the characters as we fans see them? Many of them have at least twenty years of stories, reboots, and different interpretations to keep track of.

I remember talking to a co-worker about it when the movie came out and he made the point that the IM2 was a rush job so that Marvel could meet the Avengers deadline of 2012. I didn't buy that excuse until I watched the behind the scenes stuff for Iron Man 2008 and realized Marvel spent years of planning putting that film together. IM2 was just thrown together as quickly as they could and it really shows.

of course the critics matter! for those of us who have fun with the movie business and find it to be a hobby, reading the reviews are just part of the process. And it lets us see things from a non-fanboy angle. Reviews aren't be-all end-all, but they are fun to read (if sometimes painful to read).

It doesn't sound like those posting about the reviews are having much fun with them it sounds quite the opposite.

Yes and it is not aging well- since then Marvel has put out some pretty darn good films. To me IM3 was far better yet that film gets a ton of hate!

If someone had told me that this would happen to DC's Trinity I would've said they should be commited to a mental hospital!

Hey, I really like IM2 - I even think the racetrack fight is one of the better and more unique superhero fights ever put to film. But you can feel and say whatever you want about it because I didn't make the ****in' thing.

I actually prefer IM2 to IM3 just because when IM2 was released I was craving anything related to having the MCU come together, so what people actually hate about IM2 I find to be its strength for me!

Funny how that works out, right.

The great thing about movies is that we all can love what we want then come on here and try to convince others how right we are!

But these are WB/DC BIG GUNS, there is nothing bigger in that universe!

As it is, for MCU to even compete with JUST Batman they had to assemble the Avengers, JUST TO REACH Batman level of popularity!

That's how popular Batman is!

So at a minimum BvS should've done Avengers numbers...at a minimum!

Not saying BvS is a disaster, it is NOT!

But man must Fox be blown away by Deadpool!

No matter how one tries to justify this: The movie is a failure.

It made its money back and then some? Sure.

Is it really that bad as some make it out to be? Probably, it was a mess. Some cool parts though.

Were the critics all around planet Earth were bought by Mickey Mouse? LOL.

Insert any type of excuse, but the fact is that these are ****ing Batman and Superman on the same movie. Nothing (except maybe Star Wars) gets bigger than that.

This movie should've made a billion and more easily. But as it is (a mess) you can see how a movie like "The Boss" takes the #1 spot at the box office.

I was actually taken back by the YouTube reviewers who I began watching after going to YouTube for Hot Toys reviews to see the figures in hand.

I guess I was pretty naive about them thinking that that's guys are regular people who were just posting video not expecting them.to turn it in to a business and their desire for more views. TFA that was the straw that broke the camels back when I saw how blatantly it was a copy of ANH I was shocked it was ridiculous to what degree he lifted the entire screen play from the previous and you go on RT or watch the youtube reviewers and they are full of nothing but praise the height of selling out. And when people say it a copy they say it's OK it did not bother me , it did bother it was so predictable it was a joke. Praise and critic should be dispensed with on all you don't get to give your favorite franchise a pass because it's what you grew up with its makes you no better then the fan boys.

Was the backlash against the prequel so bad that they were scared and just redid the movie what a joke you could improve upon it like what they did with Batman after Batman forever not rinse and repeat.

I DO beieve the critically lambasting hurt the box office by more CASUAL moviegoers skipping this because of the reviews-it is what it is.
I don't know what to say- I really think it's terrific and love it more on repeated viewings- what does that say? Too much to absorb in one viewing? Second alot more is understood and flows better. It's one of those films...

I don't think comic book movie should be philosophical stories with deep undertones. Just write a good story and the rest will take care of itself.
