You could go for the "Master Plan", like I did. Basically, you become a groupie. You sub to a wide range of Marvel titles, you post great reviews, you buy the memorabilia, so you have to "invest" in this. BUT! The wage is much better, you get lots of exta bonuses, etc, etc. Not that your model is bad, but there's always room for improvent. Currently they're testing it in smaller countries (less coverage of their shenanigans here), but I'm sure it'll arrive there as well. I'd certainly opt for it as it has a great insurance package, but it's kind of a hassle to do all the paperwork in order to apply, just keep that in mind.

:monkey3

do you get disney world tickets as a bonus? i do at the end of the year, just as long as i post daily. tickets to all 4 parks plus a water park of my choice.
trying to add up for a vacation.
im thinking of staying out of site to save on hotels, disney can be pricey, just taking the trolley each day to the park, food is less pricey out of site too.

No, I passed on that. Instead, I get 50 bucks extra each month and have reduced shipping and coupons for certain web-stores. Twas a good trade if I say so myself.

[..]Only, he's worse, because he also has that superiority complex and he's a Machiavellian manipulator who does despicable **** to further his own plans. Leto's Joker seems to be a similar beast, not only from all of his ridiculous on-set antics, but, also, just from what we've seen of him in set photos and on screen (beating Harley, pissing on her, from what DiFabio said, basically treating her like a whore), not to mention the visual indicators, which basically paint him as a ********* who bought into his own hype.[...]

Wait...has that been "confirmed" by sources and such? I thought that was just Leto taking a break after the scene was filmed, because it seemed as if he was just standing there, not really "doing" anything. Man, that's ****ed up if true...

It certainly looked like that in the thread. I don't know for sure, but, going off of everything we've seen and read, it doesn't seem like it'd be very out of character.

I knew joker was abusive but I never wanted it to be that bad. That just makes the joker unlikable to me. The tats and the stupid grill don't help much either. I don't know what to think of this new joker but I can say I really hate this lex. What a loser.

Oh, you mean that Gif in the SS thread. Yeah, I saw that as well, but I think it was just a joke by the OP. I don't think they'd go that far. Oherwise there's obviously a piss pattern... Hey, maybe Lex and Joker will bond over their love for piss. Hell, call Bear Grylls and you've got the start of The Legion of Doom! :monkey3

Well, one of the few in here that really like and appreciate this movie (me)....is heading out tonight to see it again.

Caught it 4 times. Pretty much once a week until the 70mm print from my local IMAX screen got pulled. Loved it every time.

Favorite moments:

"METROPOLIS: MANKIND IS INTRODUCED TO THE SUPERMAN". Superb prologue.

Bruce opens the file and is beguiled by the WWI photo of Diana. I get chills every time the camera just stays on her face.

Superman saves the Mexican girl in the burning building. The crowd is in awe.

"She was my world and you took her from me." Best scene in the film.

"I like those shoes."

"Twenty years in Gotham. How many good guys left? How many stayed that way?"

"The Bat is dead. Buried. Consider this mercy." deliciously followed by "Do you bleed?"

The Waynes were hunters when they arrived in America.

"I have to go to Gotham to convince him to help me, or he has to die. Nobody stays good in this world."

"What? What did you say? What does that mean??? WHY DID YOU SAY THAT NAME?!?"

This picture doesn't belong to you. It IS you. WHERE have you been?

All the JLA files.

The Trinity vs. Doomsday.

"This is my world. YOU are my world."

"I failed him in life. I won't fail him in death."

The silver and black logo on Superman's casket.

The music intensifies as the camera stays on the coffin, and the moment we see the dirt rise - the music changes. Awesome ending, Zack.

Now I eagerly await Snyder's R-rated 186 minute cut.

He's not taking a break. He might be pissing on her. Hard to tell. First Lex and Joker. The DCEU = DC Excessive Urine :lol

See, I'm alright with the unlikeable villains, because it seems like you'd just get that much more satisfaction from watching the hero beat the **** out of them. I don't think all villains should be likeable. You watch Dirty Harry, for instance, and Scorpio's just disgusting, and, when he finally gets his, you're thinking "**** yeah, get 'im, Callahan!"

I thought that, too, and then I read about Leto sending people used condoms and **** beads, and I thought "yup, he's probably pissing on her."

All the JLA files.

I feel like you could've done the JL set-up less intrusively, just by shortening the scene. Let Flash's visit be his introduction, and cut his appearance on candid camera. Aquaman's money shot lasted way too long, I feel like we would've got the message perfectly, had we got a shot of those glowing eyes, and then him immediately lunging out and destroying the probe, with the camera cutting out on an image of him doing his "battle cry." Cyborg could've been saved for the ultimate cut, since it'd fit better with the "communion" deleted scene, assuming that's in the extended cut of the film.

It depends for me. Someone like Doom, Magneto, The Brain, Black Adam, Sinestro, even Galactus needs to sympathetic, considering they're not "evil" just for the hell of it. They genuinely think that they're doing what's best for their people/the universe, and sometimes they're validated. But someone like the Joker, Bullseye or Darkseid? Nah, these guys need no sympathy. They're the personification of evil in a way. They just need to be actual characters and not caricatures (I'm looking at you Baby-Eating-Sabretooth).

:rotfl Imagine what antics of his they're keeping secret if that's what's allowed to get out.

i didnt want to believe that was real, I did not want a harley that has been peed on.... thats going to taint the entire movie for me :(

Just to clarify, we don't know if that's actually the case or not, I'm kind of just hypothesizing based on what we already know.

"TMZ is reporting that Leto would regularly take trips to Thailand, in character, sending his castmates photos of Asian children dressed as the mutant baby gimps in Alan Moore's seminal 'The Killing Joke.'"

Hopefully its real.

Can't wait for the reviews:

"Suicide Squad is overtly dark and depressing. This group of murderers and psychopaths just isn't fun."

"The DC Cinematic Universe is too scary. These people behave like real people & I don't like realism in my comic book movies."

"Why can't DC lighten up? Why must everything be so serious? The last thing I wanna do during a comic book movie is think."

^ Those sort of make sense really.

We don't need dudes wearing Halloween costumes trying to make us forget that the movies are based on comics. The words "realism" "gritty" "serious" don't really apply.

If I want to watch something depressing, and that makes me think and appreciate the acting and all that, I know a great Indy cinema.

I don't need dudes wearing rubber suits making me re-think my purpose in life TBH.

Yes this is true but joker is the type of villian that I wanna say "he's so bad he's good" Not "I hate this guy I hope he gets whats coming to him". Heath was the joker that screamed he's so evil he's cool. Like I knew what he was a horrible person but you still thought he was a cool character by how crazy and likable he was.
If this joker pees on harley and abuses her to that degree than that's just to far. However it's not new that joker hits and treats harley bad but still to pee on her.

The notion that CBMs can't amount to more than just fun summer fare is a greatly mistaken one.

THE DARK KNIGHT was Nolan's way of protesting that very notion, hence why it resonated so much culturally and critically and why it made so much money.
