When you were teens a lot of old people probably thought the same thing.

" damn kids with there 80s culture and stupid haircuts. In my day we had real heroes not this Star Wars and batman crap. Kids today all they do is watch cartoons. In my day you had to earn cartoons by playing with the bunny ears til you got a picture. Damn kids".

That is very true but ultimately they were proven wrong because the movies and music from that era remains as relevant today as it did back then.

Most of this modern stuff is all disposable.

Will it be disposable to the kids who grew up with it? Probably not. A lot of the stuff you find disposable now won't be for today's kids 20 years from now. Those same kids that will be film critics, writers, making films, tv shows, working for magazines and geek websites..etc, in the future. You have become your parents.

We have become old people, where having conversations with younger kids makes you want to kill yourself, where we know wisdom but don't share it because they won't listen, and they think they know life lessons.

At the Lenny kravitz ref, in the Zion dance scene everyone has dreadlocks and almost looks like him, I understood that reference...

This video popped in my head when I first saw the movie
It's really the dancing extras and not Kravitz himself that the Zion scene reminds me of.

This is why my kid was exposed to authentic yippe ki-yay muther****er, you're one ugly muther****er, crush your enemies, see them driven before you, hear the lamentations of their women and **** you ***hole just to name a few.

Which is why the third one sucks so much.
The directors for some hellish reason had the bizarre idea that audiences cared more about the real world

The final battle made up for the rest of the movie.

I clicked the BvS movie thread and it took my to the Matrix... I shouldn't have taken that red vitamin today

Just Neo doing his "Superman thing"...

That's what fascinsted me most with Matrix, seeing Neo fly with his black coat made me imagine how Superman would look like with modern effects.

Then came Super Returns. :lol

That's true. Also true: Millennials are still the worst.

;)

well this movie was made to aim at millenials so, yeah :lol they do suck, they made dc turn superman mopey like a milllenial :lol

millenials could never identify with a positive hopeful superman lol.

Part of me feels a little resentful, being a millennial and all, but I can't say I blame you. My generation's ****ed. :lol

oh boohoo. The only thing worst then millennials are the old crotchety people that complain about millennials. It's only a matter of time before the millennials are boasting about how "there will never be movies like when there was when I was your age!".

The only difference between millennials and any other generation is that we had to leave our houses to annoy people with how much we think we know while they can work from home.
