When you were teens a lot of old people probably thought the same thing.
" damn kids with there 80s culture and stupid haircuts. In my day we had real heroes not this Star Wars and batman crap. Kids today all they do is watch cartoons. In my day you had to earn cartoons by playing with the bunny ears til you got a picture. Damn kids".
That is very true but ultimately they were proven wrong because the movies and music from that era remains as relevant today as it did back then.
Most of this modern stuff is all disposable.
We have become old people, where having conversations with younger kids makes you want to kill yourself, where we know wisdom but don't share it because they won't listen, and they think they know life lessons.
At the Lenny kravitz ref, in the Zion dance scene everyone has dreadlocks and almost looks like him, I understood that reference...

Will it be disposable to the kids who grew up with it? Probably not. A lot of the stuff you find disposable now won't be for today's kids 20 years from now. Those same kids that will be film critics, writers, making films, tv shows, working for magazines and geek websites..etc, in the future. You have become your parents.
Which is why the third one sucks so much.
The directors for some hellish reason had the bizarre idea that audiences cared more about the real world
I clicked the BvS movie thread and it took my to the Matrix... I shouldn't have taken that red vitamin today

That's true. Also true: Millennials are still the worst.
Part of me feels a little resentful, being a millennial and all, but I can't say I blame you. My generation's ****ed.
As a Gen X'er I remember feeling the same way 20 years ago. Allow me to offer my condolences:My generation's ****ed.
