I agree, Superman is a boring ****.

Only 3 reasons STM is a classic is because of CR, back then we had not seen a man fly in that manner before and it was a fun colorful movie taking us out of Vietnam, Watergate, gas crisis and Manson hippies.

Who cares about that stupid boyscout.

Although I do wonder if other nations view Hopeman as a reflection of the USA.

We were recently discussing the apparent differences between WB and Marvel regarding their respective cinematic "universes," in terms of creative freedoms. I'm wondering if the abysmal critical response to Batman V Superman didn't change the producers' collective tune regarding the independence they wanted to allow creative forces. Could be one more way they're mimicking the MCU if they are running directors off by exerting too much executive influence. But, possibly a smart move in the long run. You can make money with a Superman/Batman team-up even if the movie isn't very good, but Flash? Aquaman?

:lol :lol

I don't think WB should panic, the movie is only 105 million away from 1B.

Just release the extended cut in theaters and they will reach 1B, maybe just a penny over.

Then fire everyone. :lol

snyder should just make a Batman cinematic universe and stick to only that

Nightwing, Batman, batgirl , Batwoman, Suicide Squad, Teen Titans,

we know snyder can handle batman the best

we know the batman movies are the ones that do the best with fans

and we know they make the most money.... so why not just stick to that.

I liked MOS, so I wouldn't mind a different director taking over a Superman solo film with Cavill. There is so much they can do with Superman, and I really thought MOS was just the beginning. I'd get rid of Amy Adams as Lois though.

Ummm, you can't be a professional wrestler, play professional baseball, basketball, football, soccer, tennis, cycling, skiing, frisbee, bowling, vollyball, participate in the olympics or be Batman, Superman, Captain America unless you injest steroids and performance enhancing drug cocktails.

At least Capt. America is honest about it.

Irishjedi...any truth to the rumors Zack is having problems now with WB over JL?????

Nope, everything is going perfectly as planned. Zack is laughing at the hate, WB has never been happier than now.

Losing the director of flash and now possibly losing the aquaman director is all of the perfect plan by zack and WB. They couldnt be happier.

Batman v superman has made more profit now than any marvel movie made or even more profit than nolans batman movie.

Its going to be great.... Going to be great...

WB execs have found themselves at odds with Snyder over his vision for Justice League and the DC movieverse going forward. Of course Justice League was scheduled to start shooting mere days after BvS was released, which meant WB couldn't take any definitive action - like removing Snyder or delaying the movie to make changes - without poisoning the box office for BvS. The result? Lots of fights between Snyder and the WB execs, and lots of pressure from Burbank on Snyder, who is shooting in London.

Man, Snyder looks more tired and grizzled in that picture than Wayne looked at any point in BVS.

Having said that, the article you post just references the one I posted, which is run by someone who may have a wishful thinking-fueled agenda. He does seem to represent the gossip-driven pseudo news I see on geek sites as well as anyone else. Not really a journalist as I would define it.

As long as they let Snyder finish JL, I'm good, they can reboot after that.

I don't know if anyone here posted the rumors about the WB employee who went on 4chan to share some gossip.

It was a LOT for me to remember, about LOTS of stuff, not only DC-related, but one of those points was that Snyder/WB had a Flashpoint paradox-type reboot under the sleeve.
