I don't like how "magic" became a weakness.

He used to be just vulnerable to magic, like everyone else, like everyone else is say vulnerable to punches, but then magic became a second kryptonite in the hands of writers who misunderstood it.

Shazam is able to go toe to toe with him because he's vulnerable to magic, not because he's weak to magic.

Batman does have the best enemies, but that's not the only reason Batman is the best. He could fight the Toyman, Titano, and Parasite day in and day out and would still be a bad-ass mother****er.

Batman is superficially cool and appeals to the 14 yo edgy self, but past the surface he's a lame ass cliché.

Superman's surface was turned into a lame ass cliché, but past the surface he's deeper and much more interesting than Batman.

I would take Brainiac, Darkseid or Mr Mxyzptlk over Joker any day of the week.
