No it doesn't . But making the character act and look a certain way sure does . It's cool to change things up on a character but adding silly little tats and grills and crap is a huge turn off and then also you have like you said the way he acted. The look only dragged down the performance further.

Also it's cool to make Super man have struggles every now and then but come on the guy is happy with what he does . He is a happy friendly guy. This super man is just moody and boring.

Then we have lex. What's so hard about getting him right? Why make him joker 2.0. He's supposed to be a very strict buissness guy. Not some wacky kid.

Yea some changes can be good like giving Heath joker a more twisted appearance for the joker but when you change it so bad it just doesn't feel like the character then well that sucks.

Hey if you like it you like it though. Just don't think any of these characters as of yet are being done a justice. Cept batman maybe. And I guess Harley .

I gotta disagree, look at Quicksilver in DOFP, he's absolutely nothing like the comic version, he's dressed ridiculous and was turned in comedy relief and he was arguably the best part of that movie. Keaton's Batman was short, not very handsome, had absolutely zero muscle, and was killing people, he's arguably the best Batman to date. Leto gave a bad performance in a horrible movie, take Leto out of that movie and it still sucks. Take a good director, with a better actor on a decent script with a similar interpretation of that Joker and the movie would more than probably be good.

This Superman is being directed by Zach Snyder, that's the problem, not a more serious Superman.

True but see with Keaton batman he still kept the tone , the attitude and the suit. It was all great stuff. Still did an amazing job. Quicksilver was ok imo .

Wow really? Well ****. Also looks like that batman movie aflleck wanted would probably have a lot to do with the joker. I guess the ridiculous acting and stupid look wouldn't fit his vision. I was hoping they gave joker a complete makeover in the batman movie since if course he would in it one way or another.

No character is boring, or sucks, they just need direction. Except Moon-Girl & Riri. Cause **** Moon-Girl & Riri. **** 'em hard... Aaaanyways, Superman just needs a direction that's both interesting and fresh.

I say, let's give Snyder a golf clap for effort. It was an interesting approach to Superman and Luthor, for sure. But the experiment was a failure ultimately, so. . .just move on with the alternate reality idea we had teased, and leave Snyder and his vision in the dustbin of movie history. Please, WB. Pretty, pretty please with sugar on top.
