Re: Batman vs. Superman (2016)

Updated the first post with logo and changed the thread title.

Sounds like the result of a Marketing boardroom meeting.

Franchise V Franchise:
Precursor to New Franchise

As long as the rest of the movie isn't done with the same amount of ham-handed franchise-building I don't care that much, though.

This just feels cheap imo.

Captain America: The First Avenger >>>>> The Avengers
Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice >>>>> Justice League

I'm happy we went from hating the wonder woman casting selection to hating the title.

Why not? he already played a pretty good one once.
So long as we get Michael Bell to play Duke in the next GI Joe movie, I'll support this.

Also, good news! Goyer's now been downgraded to "screenplay by..." Looks like those Terrio rewrites were for the entire movie.:lol

Wow. I don't agree with his take on MM. He's one of the most important members of the League. Plus he is the heart of the whole thing. And if he did not want to include him all he really needed to say was they are basing their story on the new 52 storyline, and MM is not in that. Or that DC wanted to push Cyborg(which they used as an excuse for leaving MM out of the original story.

So Terrio is now being credited as the writer?

Re: Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice

Well, with any luck, the fact that he's been seemingly replaced may also mean that his take on MM is, as well.

it is kind of amazing how it took Ben Affleck threatening to leave the project for the WB morons to admit that goyer is a hack.....

like, How delirious can someone be?
with so much fan anger and bad reviews over MOS, yet they were still going strong with Goyer's writing.
Until batman was like "Sorry guys, rewrites or I am walking out"

Seriously wtf
