Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

do We need the Green lantern?

They already said they won't do Manhunter, Why can't they skip green lantern as well? Just have the Justice League be:

Batman,
HOPEman,
Underweight Woman,
and Flash
and Aquaman?

(Maybe add Arrow and that's it?)

Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

Actually I don't need anything from this rebootcrossoverleagueprequel.
Just Batfleck would be enough (in a positive way).

I would rather watch a Joss Whedon helmed JLI movie with Beetle, Booster, Guy Gardner, Martian Manhunter, etc. over a Snyderverse JLA at this point, with all the major hitters. And being a lifelong comic fan, of course I would love to see a great, traditional JLA movie. I don't really care which characters are involved at this point. My hope is that Argo guy can start correcting this trainwreck of a franchise in progress and change my opinion after Batman V Superman.

Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

So, I'm really late to the party here. I just finished watching MOS. So this Batman v Superman quarl will be over what? Superman destroying Wayne Interprises during the Zod fight?

Unknown. Based on the way Man of Steel started moving toward the end with the spy satellite, my guess is Batman will be really skeptical of Supes, and will try to find out who he is/figure out how to kill him, etc., seeing him as a potential threat.

I assume someone will be portrayed as a villain at one point. Maybe Batman harnessed power to create kryptonite and Superman tries to tell him the dangers of it, and bam... Heated rivalry! Or Clark starts a paper on Batman being good or evil and Batman cones after him for the truth. I'm pretty excited either way.

Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

Still want the Wachowski's to take up a DC property in this cinema-verse.

I agree, they can make an awesome Green Lantern movie. Weren’t they offered to direct Batman before Nolan, but turned it down to continue the Matrix Trilogy?

I was thinking about which character they could take on, Green Lantern sounds perfect, after the amazing job they did with V for Vendetta and they already have a handle on sci-fi, it's an interesting proposal.

I would like Del Toro for Lobo.

Maybe BvS will jump right to the five o'clock shadow "evil" Superman that Batman will have to put down.

I'm down! Maybe Superman will have reoccurring dreams of killing Kriptonium and not giving his race a chance to thrive on earth. Or, go crazy from killing Zod.

Definitely. Batman is going to see anyone with that much power as a threat first and foremost. I still believe Batman considers Superman to be a possible threat at all times, which is why he always carries kryptonite with him. I mean Batman has contingency plans to take out all of his allies- just in case. He's that kind of crazy, paranoid awesomeness.

Batman will try to find out as much as possible about Superman. He'll discover he is Clark pretty quickly only for Supes to use his X-ray vision and find out Bruce is Batman. I don't think it will be all that dissimilar to the animated Batman/Superman movie in some parts.

I would also imagine Bruce and Lex could be on the same side, at first at least. Both are billionaires who had collateral damage done to their businesses through the Sups/Zod fight. Whether they are actually friends or just merely business acquaintances is anyone's guess. But I do think it will be Batman and Lex Luthor vs Superman and first and Batman will eventually, though still unwarily, accept Superman as someone trying to do good.

I have no idea how Wonder Woman will fit into all of this, if at all besides an after credits teaser :lol

I'd love to see it play out like that... until Bats comes to realize that Lex is a super ******, but an initial team up would be a great way to intro him.

Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

He part is going to be walking out of a shoe store before Superman throws Batman through it.
