If the angle makes it weird, just put it on a pic of Cavill as Supes. It'll get the same point across. I'm a high maintenance *****.:lol

I hate the JL War Portrayal, but I also didn't like source. I think the story takes backseat a lot of times when Jim Lee is on a book, and it just becomes a showcase for his art. Darseid was just some dumb video game boss fight. Although, it's probably setting up for his grand return, and they will develop his character more, like in the zero issue. I just hope they don't act like a bunch of bickering teenagers like in the movie. Besides Batman, I hated every character, and wanted Darkseid to kill them all. That's the way it should be anyways. The Batman doesn't need anybody, because they'd just get in his way. Give him prep, a stick of gum, and a paper clip, and he's good to go.

I would love a New Gods movie, but that would never happen.

Yup, the story was dumb as they come, but it was fun, and I liked the idea of them meeting in the heat of battle without previously knowing each other, besides Darkseid was portrayed like an unstoppable beast, it's the toughest I've seen him in any animated movie.

Regarding the personalities of everybody, some were toned up and some toned down, overall I liked the levity of tone.

As for Batman, he should have been dead within minutes, how the hell does he fight parademons like it's nothing? :lol

Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

I think if they do Darkseid first, Justice League 2 or 3 should use either Doomsday or The crime syndicate/injustice league/whatever the evil versions of the justice league wants to be called.
Fighting evil parallel versions of each other would make people interested in how things turn out. I thought doomsday would be better fit for a justice league so supermans dissapearance/death can be reflected on by league members instead of making it seem like its seperated from everything else. I wanna see batman all sad at his batcomputer with wonder woman comforting him lol.

Details from filming of the Superman Statue - Batman-News

My source on set said that they held a big ceremony to unveil the big Superman statue. The statue was built to celebrate Superman saving the Earth in the first movie — Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice takes place about two years after the events of Man of Steel. Gotham and Metropolis news trucks and helicopters were on the scene to cover the Mayor’s speech and the statue unveiling. Elementary school kids wore “Superman Survivors” shirts and helped pull a sheet off the statue for the big reveal. They also released real doves to celebrate statue unveiling. The Superman statue that we saw last we was incomplete — he was missing a head and other various body parts. That didn’t change when they filmed the scene for the movie. I’m told that the statue will be completed in post-production with CGI.

There's also this bit which he took out of the article because he thought it was too spoilery:
They filmed a scene where maintenance guys had to re-paint the statue because it was full of graffiti — meaning at some point in the film the public turns on Superman.

Well, I guess it's better than "Superman destroyed my city, and all I got was this lousy t-shirt."
