When I picture Eisenberg bald, I picture Eisenberg without hair. Too young for Luther. But I guess the are going the FBook young criminal genius. You know for the kids. Snyder probably things it's totally awesome and unexpected.

Lex is always changing with the times, so the facebook/millennial look works both in the current comics and in a cinematic comic book world, imo.
