Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

I get you. The comics have always been there as excellent guides, yet they seem to be glorified toilet paper to these Hollywood schleps half the time.

I've got zero interest in watching MoS again, but although TDKR has it's stupid moments too, I didn't mind it as much. That said, I've only seen the film properly twice, & after buying it I got through about half & gave up. I'm being a tad harsh with GL though - the Corps / OA stuff was pretty good actually for the most part.

Good to see you back btw mate. :duff

Let's hope BvS fixes that. :lol

Yeah, I missed chatting with you bums, getting those stern PMs from the mods and the especially harsh ones from DLD. :lol :duff:

Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

Then later on, maybe we could get a "Crisis on Two Earths" and later "Crisis on Infinite Earths" type storyline

When I was talking to him at WonderCon about all the great work he's done, some ***** in a Ledger Joker shirt walked up and asked him if he worked for the con (the lanyard) and asked where the bathrooms were. Felt like punching the ******. :(
This is exactly why I can't be happy about gettin more and more CBMs. Too much of clueless *********s starting to think that they are geeks or nerds after watching two TDK films and buying some cheap shirts.

Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

Stupid nerds thinking they are smarter than regular fans.

Exactly guys. The legit nerds need to stand up against the nerd wannabes and put them in their place.

Gotta happen:

I thought you must have had some sort of non censorship agreement with Dave. Because seriously some of the **** you got away with was legendary :lol
We need more of that.

I've just gotta learn to stop bypassing the language filter, & I'm golden. :yess: :lol

Yeah, I got reported for that many times. Infraction once. I can't help it, I'm irish, every second word is ****, bollox or ****. It's my heritage.

I blame the hipsters. They'er the ones that think thick rimmed glasses, clothes two sizes too small and Apple products qualify you as a nerd.

Nothing funnier than weekend warrior nerds who think they can mix it up with the regulars. :lol

I think it just goes to show that unless you're a press whore, writers are the unsung heroes of the industry.

He's definitely inspired my creativity, no argument there. I've learned it's not what you say, but how you say it. Most times it can be completely anonymous and the offending ********* will pick up on it and take it personal because he/she's a moron. I think my biggest flaw is my inability to drop it after the initial chaffing starts, preferring to let the offending party completely embarrass themselves. :lol

Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

At SW Celebration 2012 I was marveling at the eFX booth Captain America prop replicas and their propaganda posters. After I left their booth I saw a guy in a Captain America t-shirt and said, "hey there's a booth over there with some really cool Cap replicas and things." The dude literally looked at me like a deer in headlights and said, "uh, uh, it's a just a shirt, I don't know who that is," and took off.

I literally stood there thinking "what the hell just happened?" :lol
