Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

I don't know what cracks me up more, the snyder haters, or the people who can't wait to use this as a way to bash Nolan. Especially funny when they're one and the same.

I've no idea how batman is gonna use this thing or what it can do so I have not voted yet. Right now I like it, it's a cool, for me pretty new type of car for Bats and I never expected the 90s TAS sleak panzercar anyway, so the fact that it doesn't have a stupid fin on top of it is already a big plus for me.

Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

I still think this might not be what it looks like throughout the film. I think some of the stuff will shift into a more "vehicular" mode:

Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

I don't think it looks stupid or anything but it's just kind of the Batman version of an AWE Striker which puts it into Tumbler territory.

What does his car look like in the New 52 comics?

Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

In all seriousness though for some of you guys that loathe how Superman was portrayed in MOS how could BvS "make up" for it? Just have Supes behave as he should from here on out? Or specifically address the problems in MOS in BvS by having Batman call him on the destruction or have some lip service that every building that collapsed was vacant, etc?

Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

I'm glad we have variety when it comes to Batman and Batmobiles, we've gotten streamlined, fully militarized, and now we're getting a blend of that, plus comicbooky, if they were all the same kind of designs it would be boring.

I'm pretty sure that's where they're going with it. Batman wasn't in that train station, and he doesn't know what happened. All he knows is that, after a huge battle that wrecked (what was left of) the city, two Kryptonians entered, and one came out. To him, that signifies that Superman is one thousand times more dangerous, as there's a line, and Superman was willing to cross it. Keep in mind that Man of Steel was, technically, Clark's first day on the job, so, with him ending his orientation by snapping a guy's neck, when he can also shoot lasers from his eyes and punch buildings into rubble, I expect that's where Batman's reservations about his character come from.:lol

Which day was his first day? When he pulled the school bus from the water? Saved the workers on the oil rig? Destroyed that guy's truck for getting him wet? Fighting that robot thing that was attacking Lois? Scaring the herds with his flying powers? Because he'd done lots of Superman stuff before Zod showed up.

Or do you mean "first day fighting Zod." If so then the people of Earth should be very afraid. What will happen during his first day of facing Luthor? Or Doomsday or Darkseid or Brainiac? Does a city have to fall every time a new villain shows up until Supes overcomes the learning curve of his new opponent?

It was his 1st day fighting beings that were each individually his physical match while having a huge dubstep robot terraforming earth.

The point people make when they say "his 1st day" is not that it was his 1st time trying to save the day, it was his 1st time trying to say the day while having one or 2 god-like beings sucker punching him from all directions.

Okay so then MOS was basically just like every superhero movie EVER then? Because they're all about superheroes fighting new villains for the first time. :lol

So why even bring it up?

Because it turns out that these new villains can cut entire buildings like a hot knife on butter :lol

I'm just explaining what people mean by "1st day", at least that's what I mean.
