Ugh, it's an ordeal just to get connected to a game, i finally got into one I'm not liking it, I wish I didn't see the PC version stuff because this looks horrible. Preorder cancelled

Your six year old console can't produce graphics as good as a high end PC, so you're not getting the game? What about all the other games that are also coming to PC? Will you not get those too? They'll look better on the PC after all.

I don't mean to give you grief but it's strange logic to me. What about the game itself? Would you honestly not play a game because you aren't happy with the graphics? You'd miss out on a lot.

I guess I'm responding to this because I've seen so much of it on other forums. "doesn't look as good as I expected..canceled". Really? Alright.

I am unfamiliar with BF I mostly play COD. This was refreshing, I don't give a ____ about people's scores using the mouse but I will say this game is running pretty well on PS3, the 360 no worky. Also I have only played for about two hours and I am up to level 6 almost to 7. Not sure if this or COD will win me over but I do like the objectives more than just TDM. Also this game REALLY looks like a PC game which is kind of fugly. But then again most PC games are. So far so good, wish I had a taste of the vehicles.

I believe the leveling system may have been sped up for the beta so folks can unlock things quicker and try them out. Just my guess. I've seen level 30s already and that wouldn't be possible with the level progression from BC2.

Yup, twice.

I don't get why people are going on about the graphics? Who cares. They are still as good as MW3, and as long as the game play is awesome, that's all that matters. I played BF3 on my VAIO laptop that cost me about 1 and half grand in dollars, and that struggled, so if you want to play this game on PC, be prepared to shell out the big bucks. As for me, I won't pay thousands just so a game looks prettier

What can I say Dino, PC games just don't look as nice IMO. It is fun so far, don't know if it's a buy just yet. BF has never hooked me before. I'd like to get into Gears but I am not big on 3rd person shooters.

Finally got this to play tonight and I know this is just a beta but I wasn't really impressed. This was obviously meant for PCs and looks like a cheap port on the consoles. It was laggy as hell and I didn't really care for the pace of it. It takes forever to get back into the action once you die. I guess I've been playing COD too long and are used to the fast spawns and smaller maps. Hope the final game is better because I'd like to have another badass FPS to play. I will say though, the sounds in this game are perfect. It's amazing how the guns and grenades sound so realistic.

This is just my opinion and really want this game to do well.

Always join a team, that way you can spawn near a team member

Thanks for that, I was looking for a comparison video yesterday.
There really is not that much difference, although the PC settings look to be on low. However as I said before it's just graphics, game play will be the same

Yeah I have to admit that the graphics are perfectly acceptable to me. The PS3 version looks to be running at a higher Rez or something but both console versions look good. I just had a crazy match where all hell broke loose in that cramped third base. Frags blowing up everywhere, debris flying everywhere, bodies flying everywhere and it all looked beautiful and ran smooth. I'm good with that.

Beta is a complete letdown on the 360 from what I've played (not even as good as Bad Company 2). I haven't tried it on my PS3 yet. As of now it went from an instant purchase to a wait until reviews come out.

Wow. Saying that BC2 was open by comparison is scary. That campaign had almost no options for movement or strategy like BC1 had. I hate that Dice is trying to cater to a group of gamers that won't like their game no matter what. Jus do what you do best and satisfy your audience. Not so hard. Some don't care about the campaign but I always have and it sucks that BFs story mode will be yet another CoD clone when it could be so much more.

Well that article is also from IGN, and they've shown time and time again that their word is about as worthless as an umbrella on a sunny day.
That article was prolly by the same ****** who had the balls to title an artile "Top 5 reasons why Dark Souls is better than Skyrim" and lists Skyrim AS HAVING DLC while Dark Souls does not. and Epic scale as reasons . You can't get much bigger than Besthesda worlds.

Played some PC yesterday. I like how it plays, although the browser based launcher is really crappy. Didn't get to play Caspian Border yet, since the servers running that are always full, but hopefully I'll get a chance at some point.
