I can't believe some people are thinking the console and PC graphics are comparable ...I have a high end PC, the Xbox, and my brother the PS3. I checked it out on all 3 and there's no comparison at all graphics wise. PC buries them all by far.

Thanks for that, I was looking for a comparison video yesterday.
There really is not that much difference, although the PC settings look to be on low. However as I said before it's just graphics, game play will be the same

Well that article is also from IGN, and they've shown time and time again that their word is about as worthless as an umbrella on a sunny day.
That article was prolly by the same ****** who had the balls to title an artile "Top 5 reasons why Dark Souls is better than Skyrim" and lists Skyrim AS HAVING DLC while Dark Souls does not. and Epic scale as reasons . You can't get much bigger than Besthesda worlds.

IGN's words should not be taken serious.

So you like paying for things that could have easily been included in the retail copy? Give me a complete game on release day, anytime.

I did, and what's your point ? I can afford it. I play more than just this game as well.

Can't belive the complaints here, i get that is is glitchy and stuff, but its an Beta of an old build.

This type of gamplay is what battlefield is and its the reason we love it, alot of these complaint are probably from COD players who thought this looked great, but are too stuck in the COD frame of playing to bother to adjust before complaining.

Yeah, cause I consider DLC to be add ons to compete games. And most add ons aren't even completely developed at release. Also the fact that DLC extends the life of a game is better anyway. So while no one isn't playing Dark souls anymore Skyrim will still have content available. Thats how I look at it. And I don't mind paying 10-15 bucks for 5 hours or more of extra content to keep the game going.

Well I played it for a while yesterday. First thing I thought was that it was a bad move by dice to have that level as the beta. People that have seen the adverts will play that and immediately judge the game on that level. It really does not capture what battlefields about so for those who are canceling pre-orders, id suggest looking at the prevoious clip of the caspien boarder beta. For me personally, i thought it sometimes looked good, sometimes looked outstanding. At the very start of the beta, the leaves and tree's look to in your face and the colours saturated. In the other hand, when you go outside onto the road.... it really did start to look very good.
Iv seen the side by side between the consoles and the ps3 looks not as in your face which looks nice, but doesn't look quite as sharp.
Weather you have a pc parked in the garage or a console being tested to the full, its going to be a great game on all formats so roll on end of October.

That's how I always play...


Actually---I've got two monitors and one of them has my Xbox 360 hooked up. I could literally have the Xbox version playing on one screen and the PC version playing on the screen next to it.

Me too, just watched the video again. They are extremely close to the same graphics. Who cares though? It's about the gameplay. Truth is I would play this game if it still had Nintendo 64 goldeneye graphics.

Well the point is quite a few people have both consoles and you want to get the version that suits you.
Iv personally found when a multi format game has come out on both consoles, Iv found the ps3 version struggle in terms of resolution and frame rate. It annoys me because when Sony release their exclusives, i find them to be that bit better.....
Im not trying to start a console war or anything, they both look great to me and just putting it there if anyone wanted to see how both console versions look when running

Yep I was hoping it would look as well as Crysis, IMO one of the best looking games and its up there with it so alls good.
Was talking to a friend who reviews games and he was saying you can counter the knife stab and stab them yourself

To me it has nothing to do with graphics, I am getting it on 360 over PS3 for one reason the controller. I can't stand the PS3 controller and even the ones that are like the 360 controller still feel funny.

It seems to be working better today, also came across a few definite keyboard mouse players.
