I'm having quite a bit of fun with the multiplayer playing just rush. I'm thankful that AT mines are as useful as they were in BC2. It's also nice that you can disable most vehicles with a single rocket to the rear.

I finally managed to get a kill in a jet! I'm starting to get the hang of the controls. Keep me away from the helicopters though. Those things are death traps.

That's why I stick with tanks and LAVs. I also refuse to get into someone's helicopter without seeing proof that they can fly them. Last 3 I hopped in almost stayed in the air a whole 5 seconds after I hopped in...

Took down two choppers and one (maybe two) jets with the AA gun, got another kill dogfighting another jet with the machine gun and unlocked the homing missiles.

Q: is it the homing missiles that target the SOFLAM lasered targets?

Q: i've seen guys with awesome dogtags that say 487 carbine kills and rush wins 103 and some cool graphics, are these the pr-order ones or can you unlock them?

Speaking of glitches, I was driving/operating a tank earlier and it just blew up out of nowhere. It said I died from "bad luck." Go figure.

Q1: Anything that can lockon can use the SOFLAM targeting. That includes Javelin launchers and homing missiles from vehicles. The targeting is especially useful for the Javelin launcher as the missile will come straight down on the target. The SOFLAM allows homing locks without line of sight. It doesn't change the amount of time to get a lock onto a target.

Q2: Those specific dog tags are unlocked by getting enough ribbons to unlock the medal. Having 50 rush winner ribbons will yield the dog tag and medal. Getting 50 carbine ribbons (7 kills in a game with a carbine) unlocks the dog tog and medal. And so on and so forth. I don't know how often the number is updated on the dog tag.

Hard to smoke them out when you don't know where they are. Operation Firestorm for example. Big dark buildings with tons of places to hide. You cant possibly predict where they're hiding. You can go prone in a corner somewhere and be invisible for as long as you want. It's not like we're talking bout one guy in a tiny shack. They camped everywhere and if you want to hide in Bf3 it's not hard to do it.

I noticed a lot of douches using the parachute trick too. Parachute from a chopper so you can get on top of some high up place that's perfect for camping. Even more annoying now that they can do it with the recon kit and drop that stupid radio beacon. I saw all the cheesy tactics today and didn't have the players to help me stop it. Very annoying and always leaves a bad taste until you can have a good game again.

Better yet: if you're team sucks, then quit. There's honestly no point! So don't waste your time. Find a new server; it'll bring your mood down and your kill-death ratio! If a lot of people are camping, then that means your team ain't helping with killing. You can't do everything yourself.

Dont tell me youre one of those that cares about k/d in a BF game. Those are usually the first to run to that camp spot.

Lobbies rotate constantly. If you stick with it, you'll usually find yourself on a decent team. It's no different than quitting and searching for a new game. Your chances are about the same I find. II occasionally go hunting for a good team, but that can be a waste of time too. There's always free spots on a bad team, but good teams tend to stick together as long as possible for obvious reasons.

Ever since BF3 came out with this battle log business where you and other thousands of people can view your stats (not like it's anything new) I've became obsessed with it; and usually I'm not. I never was with BF2, BC2, or MW2.

Why? I could care less about your k/d and I'm sure I'm not alone. The only person who might care about mine is me and even I don't.
