So Gaeta helps President Baltar and now he's alligned himself with VP Zarak. Good choices...

Maybe it's just the nostalgic factor but I'm really enjoying the fact that Richard Hatch's character Zarak has not been a throwaway couple of episode cameo but rather he's playing an integral part in the entire series... I know that he was adament about bringing back BSG and I'm glad that he was welcomed and given a strong role in this version that did come to fruition.
Funny thing about last night's show-- Halfway through I was going where the frak is Baltar and then poof-- like magic we're witnessing his quasi-religious diatribe.
I can't wait to see what happens with this character.
Seeing Richard Hatch on BSG is great! IMO he's giving Zarak's character a very strong presence.
Baltar scene last night kind of reminded me of David Koresh & the Branch Davidians. Sorta.
I'm getting the same religious zealot cult feel and I wonder if a mass-suicide moment might not be on the horizon-- without Koresh--er, Baltar backing out at the last minute.
Funny that you mention that...my girlfriend thinking almost the same thing except she used Jim Jones.
Was anyone else who watched the webisodes surprised to find out Gaeta was gay?
My theory is that Adama is dying, some complication of his surgery or something... and HE is the dying leader. Because the scripture said that the dying leader would lead them to the promised land (they didn't use the word Earth there), and that the leader would not live to enjoy it. So I am thinking that Roslin assumed it was her, and now Adama is the one trying desperately to find them a home.
yeah he does...he's all bitter and full of piss and vinegar. i was hoping starbuck would knock his gimp-ass out.I didn't really mind Gaeta, up until now.
That bastard needs to die
