I won't miss Dee. Although I didn't see the end coming the way it did, she wasn't a character I cared too much about. Not that I didn't like her character, she just wasn't a character I was overly interested in.

Just watched it... I have a had hard time believing the XO's slut wife is the final cylon.
Why not? Tigh is a drunk, so why can't she be some sort of extreme? As it has been discussed to death, the final five are all more human than the skinjobs, that's why they are who we don't expect them to be.

I can't believe Kandyse McClure found out her character was being killed off by reading the script while in hair and makeup. Talk about a crappy way of getting a pink slip.

I'll miss her. :(
I know, I'll miss her too. :(

I never said it was her character flaws that make me think that. Its more because her character is not as interesting as say Boomer or Tigh.

I'm glad they went with her and not an obvious choice like Baltar, Kara or Lee, especially since we never did see the result of Baltar's Cylon test on her.

By the way, do the Earth Cylons remind anyone else of a Transformer or is it just Ill's sig putting that in my head? :lol

What I hope they answer is what was up with Baltar seemingly lifted up by Caprica Six during the confrontation with the military.

Ron Moore talked about that in the commentary for the episode. He explained that the director made that choice, and that it wasn't supposed to be that dramatic. Basically, it wasn't supposed to look like Head Six was picking him up. It was pretty much a mistake. He just rationalizes that all the people in the crowd saw was Baltar gathering strength inside himself to stand up to the guards, not that some mysterious force pulled Baltar onto his feet.

I can't be certain about the timeline, but I think Moore was on strike with the other writers at the time so he couldn't go back in and tell them to re-shoot that scene.

Oooo, speaking of the earth Cylon, I bet that helmet is one of the items going up for auction this week.

I hope there is a light at the at the end of the tunnel. I love the show, but it makes me feel so sad.

I'm sure there will be. I can't imagine them ending the series with everyone in such despair. Perhaps another livable planet will be found...something to give them hope for a new future.

well i'm finally caught up and ready to go week-to-week now. can't wait...less than an hour to go! :rock

i have faith in the writers/director that we won't be left to feel empty at the end of this ride.

Anyone feel like the development with Tyrel's kid is kind of a cop out? All this sturm & drang over cylon/cylon - cylon/human babies and with a swipe of a pen they wipe out one of them. Like they wrote themselves into a corner and wanted to make Hera special again.

But I loved Tyrel's pronoun trouble "them" "us" uh...

The show captured the ennui that the characters are going through - why bother getting up in the morning?

Except Gaeta, who has a new life and mission it seems.
